- Everyone at Focus bikes got together to ride on the longest day of the year. The boss of Focus hired out the Bikepark for us and we rode as many laps as physically possible.
Davi took a break from The Ride Companion to came over for the ride and Iven and Deaks joined the rest of the Focus bikes crew for laps and laps and laps!
I rode my Jam squared SL EMTB for the day despite there being a lift service!

I moved to Finland a few years ago and discovered that the bike park scene here is based around re-purposed ski-centres, which use button and T-bar lifts for the bikes in the summer🌞🇫🇮
It's a pretty flat country (in the south at least, near Helsinki) so the lifts take a couple of minutes, and the descents are only about 30s to 3mins, but in practice it means you get to spend loads of time on your bike, and you bump into riding mates on the lift really often, so there's a really community spirit feel to it! 🤘
Have had a hard time watching mtb content lately but your videos are always too fun to miss, love the shenanigans and awesome to see both you and Davi out for a trip! The picture of you horizontally above the bike like superman is too good. Keep enjoying it Odub, good vibes from Canada 👊🏻🇨🇦

@@owilkins23 Awesome to hear it, the more fun you have the more we do too! As important as the numbers may be, they’ve pale in comparison to what you guys do for bikes and what you’ve done to build an awesome community like The Companionship. I’ve watched channels with millions and don’t know a name there whereas here I know dozens of names and faces of incredible people. Hope to get across the pond one of these days for a freedom ride! May the only burnout in your life be laying rubber on the road 🤘🏻

Strictly speaking that's not a button lift, its a T-bar lift. Same difference really, they're both drag lifts, but a T-bar is much easier to hook behind your arse on a bike than a button

Button lifts make a lot of sense. Surely cheaper to run than vans and drivers.
