    This sort of thing happens all the time but gets swept under the rug. Administrators at the school and district are given unchecked leeway when it comes to actions against teachers and staff, whether supported or not. Principals can but things in an employees file that is incontestable, except in a written rebuttal, though that doesn’t carry the same weight as the original. Districts have a clear policy where they side with the principal in all matters, unless it involves an egregious offense against a child. That is why Ms. Williams and others in this case were terminated despite her status as a whistleblower. Even in the event of a victorious court case against the school district, the emotional, mental, and financial impact of the ordeal can have a lasting impact.

    Truth will always prevail. No one should have to endure such life changing devastation simply for telling the truth. Praying that justice comes your way soon. Keep fighting for the children.

    Retaliation is standard. If your employer does not lead an attack on your reputation and job for opening your mouth, THAT is cause for shock. Pretty much all employers are morally corrupt because we the people are pretty much all morally corrupt. There are very few people of integrity and ethnic on this earth.

    Losing a job during these times are proving that we as Ameeicans can not come forward in our justice system. This lady was fighting for children so that they learn in school and not be lied too. If anything she should be awarded for this type of bravery and the integrity.

    This is all ridiculous. She, however hard it must’ve been, did the right thing by stepping up and calling out the school system. It’s a shame how much hate whistleblowers receive even if they’re doing the right thing.

    It's sad that the honest among us aren't offered any protections while those who cheat to get ahead are always somehow able to escape karma. Something really should be done. This is the kind of educator I would have wanted to have on my side when I was in school. She shouldn't be punished for wanting students and the adults who are supposed to shape their futures to do things the right way.

    That just shows that atlanta school did not learn or cared that these teachers were cheating. This lady did the right thing and instead she is being punished so that other teachers would just look the other way when the school is involved in another cheating scandle.

    This lady is a liar. She got fired for tardies. Her story keeps changing and she complained about the principal and how she treated her to the board but never mentioned anything about any cheating.

      @Calimax91
      My very first on-air interview with channel 2 was all about the cheating. My 4-28-09 complaint to Professional Standards was about cheating. My investigation from Georgia Department of Labor determined that I’d done [NOTHING WRONG], broke no rules, statues or laws to be terminated! The Professional Standards Commission has [NO] sanctions against my license, but Evans license does!!! Further @Calimax91, EIGHT(8) tardies for the year won’t get anyone fired UNLESS it’s something schemed up in RETALIATION; which principal Dana Evans is known for. She retaliated against educator Butler-Grant as well; terminating her [after] she went to GBI on Evans’ asking her to lie regarding her students during the testing. This is one of the many reasons why Evans was indicted and sentenced to jail for one year. Evans then [begged] the judge to suspend her jail time because she was “once his son’s counselor;” straight-up asking the judge for FAVORITISM, is as [ATROCIOUS] as can be! @Calimax91, I’d suggest that you [get and read] the trial transcript so you can stop the lies and begin to speak with [INTELLIGENCE] and NOT as a “buddy” to someone who harms children!…”OUR LOYALTY BELONGS TO OUR CHILDREN!” NOT GROWN UP, DELUSIONAL FOLKS WHO BETRAY CHILDREN FOR BONUS MONEY! Superintendent Hall’s bonus money during her tenure was a whopping $582,000 in GA, smh!…NEED CLARITY ON ANYTHING ELSE??

    Sorry but she should've kept her mouth shut! The school system already knew about this they didn't care, they were getting money from the state, its not always wise to snitch!

    • @anotherdimensionalentity1040

      The school knew about it and did it anyway? They should have known better and conspired to commit an illegal act. But that's okay?
