He's just solid. It'd be awesome if he created a whole universe of characters related to this one. I.e. his business, conservative cousin comes to visit from the big city and is meeting him @ the bar. An old college roommate, visiting for a funeral for his Me-maw. A work friend, meeting up to buy a used car(something, whatever) And he can use this character as a foil to the new one. "Um, yea, I'm supposed to meet...whaa? Why is everyone asking me about lollipops?" He's got a goldmine here..

at first I thought this performance was gonna be hammy and a little offensive, but after about 20 seconds I realized no, this is that kind of knowledge that can ONLY come from years upon years of firsthand experience with a community.
As a straight person I can also confirm this is funny. Though I guess my opinion doesn’t matter because I don’t have the exclusive LGBTQ+ community humour review license (TM)
