@ I just finished the game for the first time and I’m glad I didn’t stop because of the puzzles. The story is too good to miss. Also I guess that note you find that says to ‘empty room 312, no one is returning’ was written by James?
He did it out of pity, frustration, and hatred. When Mary found out that she was dying, she lashed out at her friends and family, especially James. She cut off virtually all intimacy with him, and by the time she accepted her fate, she was bedridden. James was resentful, and wanted to move on with his life. He knew Mary wanted an end to her suffering, so he decided to take her life, believing it would lift the burden from his shoulders. Unfortunately, it had the opposite effect. James could no longer live with himself, so he brought Mary's body to her "special place", Silent Hill, where he intended to end his own life. However, the town had other plans for him...
Lmao I just listened.. I turned my mic holder out of the way so I could do something w out catching audio.. either that or it’s Laura screeching or I had the most high pitched fart of all time 😂
Still love to believe that James killing mary wasn't an act of free will rather he was in some way being manipulated into doing so, whether that be under the influence of a substance, or just the town itself
I think the original really did do this better. You're made to feel so much more uncomfortable with her smothered screens and clearly seeing what James did.
@@neurohack9038 You're not wrong, her face def is weird, but the voice acting is still a billion times better even with the comical squeak-cry at the end as she runs away lol
You kidding me? I could barely see what James did in the og while in the remake you can see almost everything. The only thing I like more in the og is the music and the camera movement around James, sitting on the chair, for a few seconds to let the emotions sink in. In the remake you have almost no time to realise what happened.
I looove the change of the room from James illusion to the reality of the Hotel (burnt down and abandoned)
Same dude this whole cutscene is a jaw dropper
So the whole time you were in the lakeview hotel it was like this but you see the nice filter until it switches?
@@harlowsvideos3992 exactly, the nice filter it’s just on James’s mind but once he accepts the truth he sees the reality of the hotel

@zrubskev I don't think he see the reality of that hotel, i think his body switched into the Otherworld
You can hear the guilt in the man's voice, man luke roberts is a talented actor.
3:08 That look in James’ face is one that I don’t think I will ever forget.
In my first playthrough I literally didn't see anything. That pillow looked like pyramid head to me 😅
1:44 the heartbeat sound is terrible
That’s very traumatizing.
James, my man you weren't supposed to take THIS good a care of your wife
It was a mercy killing.
I kinda think the screams should have been kept in. It really would have been heavy.
Mary was just dead tired 😂
Why did James killed Mary?
Pity, hate, desperation, frustration, all of it. He loved her so much, but the sickness took her and his life away from him.
@@IXkupohe truly hated her.
He didn't know how to handle her through her sickness! He wanted his old life back with her but the sickness took it from his hands

they wasnt in town when that happened
The music kinda ruined this scene
What iss the music name?

You can barely see anything in both versions, but at least the kid's voice acting isn't absolutely hideous in the remake
@@TheGoldenDunsparcethe facial expressions from her in the remake are just awful in this scene.

@@IXkupo Yeah, I watched the original, and unless you knew what was happening, it's hard to tell what he did. In the remake, it's much more clear
Someone can help to me for song play name please?
