Yeah, to me it feels like they haven't done much character work since season1. They built the character then and have had small changes....but sometimes forget they are telling a story about these people. When I watched season 1 I couldn't wait for the next episode....now I don't have to see it the same night it airs. I still enjoy the show but I just feel we don't get those moments with the characters anymore. Like season 1 when Bellamy finally realized Clarke had a lot of guts when she had to help Adam.... I mean that moment is absolutely amazing. You just don't get moments like that anymore.
Absolutely. I jumped on board right after the season 1 finale aired, so I could binge watch the show and I was very thankful for that, because like you said I was dying and thirsty for each new episode. I even got up in the middle of the night during season 2 to live stream. And I was soooo passionate about the show. I mean, I watched season 1 over 14 times xD I still like the show (and absolutely love the cast!) but the season 1 vibe is definitely something that I miss. I had hopes that s4 would go back to that and partly it did, but not how I wished it would. Just give me the delinquents and leave the end of the world and stupid wars out of it. But I guess that won't happen in S5, so we have to read more fanfics ^^
I guess that is all we have left. It really sucks though because the show started out so amazing and honestly think it had the potential to be something great. They have lost that spark. It just makes me a little sad.

It was cathartic so it's a good thing. now she needs to have an emotional breakdown and face her feelings and understand she's not doing the right thing
The evolution of their relationship is amazing. Bellarke will rise in season 5. I'm just waiting for a confession scene. As for shipping them, nothing could ever stop me. This isn't worse than anything that happened in season 3 and they still forgave each other for that so I wouldn't be too worried.
