    Very nice sister...in case i have to make it for 5 kg you said we can keep it Jar and add tadka when required...in that case can i keep jar outside in room temperature or we can keep that in fridge

      Yes, you can but before going for bulk quantity if you’re making it for first time I suggest you to try for 1 or 2 kg first.

    My mother used to put tamarind in tomato juice & then together she is to grind.

      Hello ji..waise toh bahar bhi rakh sakte hain our fridge mein bhi. Fridge mein rakhenge toh Achaar ka color aur flavor dono lambe samay tak fresh rehte hain.

      This tomato pickle can be stored more than a year.
      Yes, if you refrigerate the pickle it’s color and freshness remains intact.

    I prepared it with the same process... But isme salt excess ho gya h...plz bataye is pickle se salt kaise reduce kare?

      tamatar ko kat ke bina namak mein dalen dhoop mein ache se sukha kar then grind karke achar mein mila dijiye ga. Saath mein mirchi bhi adjust kar dijiye ga.

    Aapne kaha zyada quantity mein achaar banae agar to bina oil ke room temperature pe achcha rahega kya
    Aur ye tel wale achaar ki shelf life kitne din ki hai

      Tel wala aur bina tel wala dono lamba rukenge..fresh tadka wala zyada tasty lagega..
      zyada din tak store karna ho toh saaf sukha kaanch ka martaban le. Dry aur shadow place mein rakhe.
      Agar Fridge mein rakhna ho toh 100% safe rahega…

      Achar ko subha ke 11:00 se shaam ke 4:00 beech ki tej doop mein hi sukhana hai.

    Hello, please tell that after cutting and salting tomatoes do we have to keep them in fridge or outside. I ask since the temperature in Delhi is hot😊

      Outside, don’t keep in fridge. The day you are salting the tomatoes is first day, let it be for second day also. Third day early morning squeeze the tomatoes and dry under sharp sunlight.
      Don’t use any metal utensils for salting drying and storage.

      I’m very sorry agar aapko teekha laga hoto. Achar ke liye mirchi powder alag se aata hai. Ya half spicy aur half less spicy mirchi powder use kar sakte hai.
      Naya achar teekha rahega.. ek hafte baad khaye.

    The tamarind can be added with the tomatoes in the start itself. But clean the tamarind well.

      Achar ke liye namak preservative ki tarha kaam karta hai. Thoda zyada hi rehta hai. Phir bhi agar namak kam karna ho toh, thode tamatar aur sukha kar pees kar mila le aur is hisaab se lal mirch powder bhi add kar de.

      If you put sufficient quantity of salt it never stinks..may be it’s raw tomato smell.
      Kindly check the procedure again..
