Ben Rebuilt 2022
Plot twist: it’s miles secretly teaching us his ways
That's ridiculous 👀
@@BenRebuilt suspicious…..
@@BenRebuilt hmmmmmmm
Bro just got exposed
You seem to have figured out most of the web swinging aspect of Spider-Man, so my invention idea is a way to stick to walls just like he does 👀
Good thinkin
The other challenge that is never mentioned in the comics which is a huge one, is the strength of the object that you attach to. If Spidey attached to windows, they would shatter from being pulled out and same with any other object that isn't strong enough. You'd have to focus on structural beams and components. Why must reality be such a cruel mistress!
@@BenRebuilt so please make a video about how to stick our webs on the building not for one time, I mean to swing on few buildings like Spider-Man please bro.
bro your videos are awesome! keep doing what you’re doing
Cant stop now 🤷♂
Awesome work man! Seeing what you were able to accomplish has inspired me to get back into making crazy gadgets (or at least trying to!)
I wonder if the other folks on RUclips working on Spider-Man gadgets (like Allen Pan, BuiltIRL, JLaser, Hacksmith, etc) would be interested in doing a Spider-Man Challenge. Each contestant has to try to make it through an obstacle course involving climbing, swinging, and Spidey Sensing in the dark. I think your “keep it simple” approach would give you a good chance at winning!
That's the coolest thing I've ever heard, hopefully one day when I'm among there ranks I'll pitch it to them. Good Luck on your projects btw, What you working on?
Glad you like the idea! I’d love to see it happen someday. Right now I’m working on a very, very early prototype that I’d someday like to turn into second sight for the blind. Something that translates visual signals from an IR camera into haptic feedback in a glove, or something similar
That’s amazing. I’m sure you’ve seen Stuff Made Here’s video on the topic, It’s such a cool concept the seems impossible.
I recommend a harness like g3ar’s and back to your first video I thought about the nails you’re onto something With a lot more force probably from a pcp air source or propellant you could probably make a projectile based off of strike anchors you put em in a hole hammer the pin sticking out of the head and the tip expands
I remember hearing about that, I'll defiantly look into designing some thing like that.
I think it would be cool if you tough people how to do all this stuff with a full on tutorial
Maybe someday, but right now I don't have a design I'm confident would be safe for people to replicate.
@@BenRebuiltplease make a tutorial😭
Hey nice work mate! I missed this when it came out, but just stumbled across it now. I love the focus on simplicity and the fast-paced editing style :)
Keep it up!
Thanks man, I've been trying to tackle making webshooter's for a while now. But before getting into all the complications of versatile latching methods and multiple swings, I thought maybe I should first just build something that allows me to swing 😅
@@BenRebuilt Yeah exactly. Good luck with whatever comes next!
Likewise, we’re all excited for what you got coming next 👍🏾.
now that this is done when should the tutorial for the school supply version be out?
Soon hopefully 👍🏾
That's awesome
In part 3, make 2 web shooters instead of 1. And also can you show unedited clips of you Swinging instead of montages?
Sounds good to me 👌🏾
Ty.
Here’s a thought.
The end of the rope has a three pronged 3d printed section that has hinges on it (like a metal watch wrist strap) so when it hits something, the force of its momentum causes it to wrap around the object (almost like the design of the claws for Otto Octavius). Couple this with some sort of synthetic gecko skin that some people have been making where each of the claws have it oriented with the hair structures down and inwards so that they have more of advantage to stick to something.
You wouldn’t be flying around on this one, but how cool would it be to have a reusable grappling hook that can realistically grab things then bring them back to you in everyday situations with objects 5lbs or less? I would so be here for it.
Also, this was some pretty good editing and comedy for an underrated channel. You got a subscriber today!
A really amazing idea actually I’ll definitely look into it.
It's more of miles morales it's the more human version than actually having spider man's abilities
Ben how did you make the trigger shoot because you fire it and the metal trigger goes back to the exact same spot if that makes any sense
The trigger is a strip of spring steel, it returns to it original position after force it applied to it.
@@BenRebuilt oh cool thanks
spider-man really just uploaded a youtube video
he do that sometimes
you should try making a more combat-focused web shooter (wraps arounds limbs and stuff). that would be pretty cool.
That sounds AWESOME, and I already have so much planned for part 3. Looks like this series will be going on for a while 😅
Kid: Mom, can we have hacksmith?
Mom: Don't worry dear, we have hacksmith at home.
Ben Rebuilt:
Same Great ideas but a 1/16 of the funds
#closestwegottowebswinginglikespidermanever
Hey uh ben I’m hoping I’m not asking for much but could u do a more in depth version of the school supply web shooter vid? I’m planning to make it and I’m so excited. If u cant I totally understand I just wanted to know how the rubber band thing was done a bit better
I know right, I’ve already received tons of requests to do one. Hopefully I’ll get the chance soon
Need to make more of these and start selling them
Bro is still replying to comments after like, a month. New subscription
Ain’t no body getting left on read
Yo nice!, from brooklyn.
You like jojo too??😮😮😮
Nah I don’t watch anime, but I must admit it has some great sound effects for RUclips videos 👌🏾
Ah alright
Can you upload again plz
Here’s an idea make a web shooter that can shoot more than once at a time
I've actually had a design like that somewhere in my notes. Guess now I have a good reason to use it.
AWESOME VIDEO!!! Can’t for the next one. 👍👍😎
Thanks 😁
Make real web fluid
man this is the best i seen can u make a tutorial pls
You are amazing
This is the closest so far
SHUT THE- 😂😂😂😂
in your og video you talked about it shooting nails, could you have a custom nail that shoots out prongs or something similar out of the sides once its inside of a wall?
I've consider something like that in the past, but the complexity of a multi-stage dart hook that's also small enough to be launched off my wrist would call for a lot of small move parts. That would ultimately make it very unreliable to swing from without professional grade manufacturing equipment.
Maybe for something like that to work, the dart could have a passive system like how a wood screw naturally builds up more resistance the further it's driven into a material. Then for releasing the entire line could be detached rather than the dart coming out of the wall.
Nice work kid! keep it up
First
Dammit, welp the channel's all yours 🔑
Thanks.🫴🏾
Okay
Wonder if you could add some sort of mechanism that brings it back in. Could help with climbing, and make it reusable
Now in the third part we will see you swinging over new york
I know right😅, hopefully it’s not the last in the series☠️.
Love your video! I would love to see a marshmallow gun! I was originally going to say potato gun but buying a bunch of potatoes seems expensive and also dangerous. So marshmallow gun.
The little big planet music is peak
right !?!
Man, you are fucking genius
I'm actually a pretty subpar engineer. You should see the failed versions 😅
Amazing content u deserve way more views and subs :)
Красавчик!
Are you miles morales?
No Ben Rebuilt, you where close tho
Wait how old are you bro
19 and counting
@@BenRebuilt damn thinking of doing what your doing in the future
@@Drag0nfruit10 Good luck man, it’s a fun journey 😁
Bro i actually love these vids
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it
This was amazing!
Thank you so much Aunt Wanda, I'm glad you liked it
Ben rebuilt would you like to do a collab and combine our web shooter design or do you want to work together on a video
Also if we collab and you choose to combine our design for the web shooter maybe we can make a retractable web shooter🤔🤔🤔
🙏🙏🙏 plz I really like your strive to engineer and invent such interesting things
@@CFX_YT511 Yeah lets do it👍, hit me up at rebuiltben@gmail.com and we'll discuss some ideas.
Underrated
That’s what I’m saying
Hi love your videos
Thanks man
What do you use to edit
Premiere Pro
I WANNA BUY THIS PUT ON MY SPIDER-MAN COSTUME AND START SWINGING FROM BUILDING TO BUILDING
And the best part is… Nobody can stop you
Except gravity
@@LittlePangy true
I need to make one of these.
Good luck, I'd love too see it

Its the perfect middle ground between relaxation and intelligence
@@BenRebuilt I couldn’t agree more, I have a strong feeling your channel is going to blow up soon
Can’t be long now 🤷🏾♂️
I think that it's something impossible but can you make web shooters by school materials and swing from it
Maybe not as impossible as we might think, I'll look into it.
Hi
What’s up
dude that editing improvement tho damn
OMG U DID IT FINNALY DID IT U BEAUTIFUL MAN
Took way longer than i wanted it to 😅
@@BenRebuilt its fine
Yo wassup

Hey Ben are you Canadian
Nope I’m in America
@@BenRebuilt oh where in America
@@Drag0nfruit10 Currently livin in New York.
How much to buy this from you? Lol
Can't really sell it in its current state, After reviewing the design the fact that I even swung from it once was a miracle
@Ben Rebuilt it looked cool for the one time you swung if makes you feel better lol
It does, thank you😅
@@BenRebuilt no problem 😆
this is great you should in corporate 3d printing one the build to make it look you know real
I really want to, but unfortunately I don’t have the facilities todo soon right now
@@BenRebuilt I would love to help 3d print one if you could make a file and if you have a RUclips PO Box
Thanks so much, but I’m currently working with my father to get one install later this year. The main problem is ventilation.
@@BenRebuilt ok just wondering I am thinking about starting a 3d printing channel so just wondering
also, do you have a channel Instagram I can follow
What sort of metal did you use for the trigger
I used some spring steel from a knee brace hinge, It was a pain to cut and drill through tho.
@@BenRebuilt ok thanks
@@BenRebuilt sorry im late but hoe is that trigger bending so well
@@Fagelyt No worries, It's because spring steel has a very high yield strength and can be greatly deformed while still being able to return to it's original shape.
And the reason it's so easy to bend with my just my finger is because I'm taking advantage of torque. Since one end of the lever is attached to the webshooter, I'm making sure that my fingers are applying force to the opposite end of the lever. Because the force I'm applying actually gets multiped the farther it is away from where the object is attached
Same reason why door handles are mounted far away from the hinges where your door is attached to the wall.
Ur backkk let’s gooo
Been workin 👍🏾
@@BenRebuilt keep it up

Amazing long awaited not disappointed nice man
Precitae that, glad you enjoyed it
OMG I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS BEN THIS IS SOOO GOOD
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
bro.. Can you imagine if you could combine a zvs, some cartridges filled with some glue and merge that with your current mechanism since the induction plate would keep the glue hot all the time?, and you could literally stick like spiderman!!
That Will be f0cking diabolicol
Shiiiit
That’s a great idea, If you haven’t all ready check out Joel Creates Spider-Man video where he does something similar. In the mean time I’ll take a look at that technology, it would be awesome if it works.
@@BenRebuilt I guess awesome video bro u re the man!
i wouldnt be suprised if your the real miles
