  • Bethany Meloche, Director of Social Media, began working with the CMTA as a volunteer in 2010. As a result of her active participation she was asked to join the CMTA Advisory Board as a youth liaison. She has worked as an advocate for all Youth services within the CMTA. A member of the Social Media generation, and a student of its trends, Bethany helped edit the book The Ultimate Guide to Facebook Advertising, published by the Entrepreneur Press. She has also been spotted on one or two occasions hanging out at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park. When not working with the CMT community, Bethany may be found feeding squirrels on the UC Berkeley campus, where she completed a degree in Nutritional Science. Bethany has CMT1A and runs the blog www.BareYourBrace.com.

You left this comment years ago, but I'm just seeing it now, so... thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it despite the technical difficulties.

The under the counter jar opener has been a Godsend for me!

I am so impressed with this young lady. Esp. that she has a BS in Nutritional Science. Nutrient rich, organic and high-quality foods are SO IMPORTANT with any inflammatory or Autoimmune condition. I have Autoimmune Hashimotos', I use FUNCTIONAL PHYSICIAN and I am on the AIP diet, on specific supplements and I have put my Hashi into remission through hard work and a great physician. QUESTION: If I am honest with you, I have always wondered why adults with serious condition have children knowing the percentage of chance that they too will have this condition? I don't mean to be rude in any way, but I find it hard to imagine knowing it might be passed on. If you don't know it yet (a late showing condition for example) then that makes sense to me becasue you do not know.
