Great video! Very professional! I like the multi target shootout practice! I purchased my Walther CCP last week. Waiting on the COLD, to go away to go shooting !!
I've had the CCP for ~3 years now. I still love it. The trigger got super smooth just by using it. Probably 5k round through it by now. I even did my first season of 3gun comp with it just for fun. (Challenge accepted!) This week I went to the range, rented and tried literally all the comparable 9mm conceal models. None came close as far as a combination of shootability, accuracy, and grip comfort. Plus, the magazine's seem higher quality than anyone else's. IMO. I only wish the grip was as thin as a g43 for conceal purposes. But the thicker grip makes up in the form of accuracy. And 8+1 rounds is just right. Made the executive decision to keep the CCP and spend the money to upgrade to night sites. Oh, I used my daughter's nail polish to paint the stock sites right off the bat. Yellow front post with red dot center on the post. Clear coated it and it's been perfect ever since. Just my two cents. Oh, and the takedown sort of sucked until I figured it out through repetition. It's not rocket science but it can be an irritant @ the bench when you're learning it. There are plenty of videos how to do this AND one dude showed how to do it one handed. I use exclusively Frog Lube for CLP. . It seems to do well with nearly any ammo. Primarily the cheap 115 grain plinking. I've used 125 grain and 135 (I think) and all seemed fine. Just my 2 cents. Your mileage may vary.
we have had this on range for a while now and the general consensus from renters is that is good firearm with the expected disappointment of the take down process. once its cleaned, lubed, assembled and ready for the range by and large people are pleased with its performance. thanks. ak
You ever find yourself flipping the safety when holstering, pulling, or firing? I’m personally not a fan of a safety on a ccw pistol but if it doesn’t get in the way, the ccp might be worth considering.
i don't remember inadvertently engaging the safety during the shoot but I'm with you on the topic of the thumb safety on my ccw. i prefer a striker fired trigger safety system instead. thanks. ak
thanks. i will check in with the rental side to see how its doing. its been out there for a while now and that is when characteristics/issues start to reveal themselves. ak
Great video was wondering what type of holster were u using.
the iwb was a "masters holsters" ambidextrous. ak

Nice review and drills. Looks like a pretty flat shooter.
thanks for watching, we found the muzzle climb was very controllable with this design and no failures right out of the box. ak
Great review. Unfortunately one of the worst firearm they make! Thanks for sharing!
