    This just popped up on my RUclips and I am excited to see a mediterranean climate in Australia represented. There are too few of them and your interest in permaculture is a bonus. Hope to see more from you.

      Thanks Helen, much appreciated. I'm hoping to keep doing the odd tour when I get a chance as I agree there isn't enough Mediterranean Australian representation on RUclips. 🌱

    Nice Garden. This garden will remain same, even after stormy weather. However, you are maintaining a complete garden and farm house.
    I liked your video and Subscribed.
    Wish you a Happy New Year 2022.

    Great garden. Your passion is infectious. I live on a farm in western Victoria where the climate is temperate so I give you thumbs up for taking on the challenge of gardening in semi-arid condition.

      Thanks Jo, I get a lot of pleasure out of it so can’t see me stopping now. Just need to get on top of the weeds and sow the garden full of spring and summer seeds 🌱🌸🌻

    Oh no end of summer 😭😭 we are just ending winter here and hoping for a nice spring planting. Everything looks good and watermelon is growing like crazy. Beans won’t produce if it was too hot for them to flower first I think. Goodness I hope that horned cuke doesn’t self seed then 😂😂 you will be inundated with then. My cucamelon was quite slow last year but I will give them another try my hubby loved them. Lovely tour thank you and as always 🐝 safe and 🐝 gardening 🇨🇦✌️💐🥕🌶🥬🧑‍🌾

      Thanks Ali yes that would make sense about the beans it has been pretty hot and only just noticed they have started to flower so fingers crossed. I know I was worried that the African horned cucumber may self seed to 😬 excited for you to get in the garden and enjoy some warmer weather. 💚🌱

    Hi Steph. Thanks for another great video! You live in a pretty dry climate. How often do you water your garden in summer? I see the flies are not around any more. Which part of the year is free from annoying flies in your central Wheatbelt area? (We wanted to caravan-travel there, but we do not want to go when the flies are too active).

      Hi thanks for watching, we have to water often during summer usually I do this by hand with a hose or watering can, it surprisingly doesn't need to much just a splash keeps it going 🤞 yes the flies are worst when it's hot mainly October onwards but it really does depend. There where a few flies around today but not that many. Hope you get out here in your caravan soon and have a great holiday. 🤞🌱

      @@indarafarms We are not in a hurry. I visited eastern Wheatbelt on business. Loved the character of that part of Australia, but the flies were so annoying that I decided to postpone our caravan trip until they decrease in numbers dramatically. Is April safe enough, or better wait until May?

    A good drop of rain makes such a difference. Do you get any frost during winter?

    • @indarafarms
      @indarafarms  3 года назад +1

      Not severe frosts Lyn we are lucky we can grow cold hardy crops and grow all year round.
