Believe me, I was trying but I was never going to catch him. His name is Mario Fasanetto and he's Lamborghini's lead test driver. He's done thousands of laps around Nardo, so could probably drive it with his eyes closed. Also knows the car pretty well as he played a key part in its testing and development. Oh, and in this vid he's driving a Super Trofeo racercar on slick tyres ;-)
@@GautamSharma99991 i could tell you were trying. Im in the market for new huracan evo rwd, STO or used Aventador S. Wife and I both leaning towards Aventador but reliability worries me as closest dealer is 400 miles away. Would u comment on reliability and durability between the 3 mentioned?
@@chenglo8999 : Depends how often (and in what situation) you will be using the car. If you plan on using it regularly, I'd opt for Huracan over Aventador as the latter requires you to make far greater compromises (getting in and out is more challenging, ride quality is harsher, and the ISR gearbox is jerky). Also, the Aventador will be superseded next year by an all-new model. Unless you're planning on doing regular trackdays, the Huracan Evo RWD is plenty quick enough and on public roads you won't even be able to notice the difference in terms of performance between it and the STO. The Evo is also more comfortable to drive from day to day
Why i see video pov lamborghini huracan sto is hard to control steering wheel at autotopnl? Maybe because RWD Or Power At Wheel Or track focus car? It's hard to control compare with huracan evo rwd? How about you?
The car I drove in this video is a prototype. I'm a journalist. Check out one of the reviews I wrote www.carsales.com.au/editorial/details/lamborghini-huracan-sto-prototype-2021-review-127342/
@@GautamSharma99991 thank you for the link. Nice written. It's a huge distinction from Lamborghini that you already have experience with it before any journalist/blogger. Would you pick this instead Merc GT BS? :)

Love the STO's V10 engine, but the Merc has more mid-range grunt. I've watched the footage of the BS at the 'Ring and it looks awesome. The lap time speaks for itself...

Hi Lukas. Yes, I have driven the Performante (at Imola). That's a fast and focused car, but the STO is even more raw and extreme. The fact the STO is rear-drive-only means it loses out slightly to the Performante in terms of putting power down out of slow corners. However, it makes up for this with much more aero downforce, less weight and firmer suspension
0:51 Oh my heart...
About time I can find a vid of one being driven on a track and not just sitting in someones garage.
Hope you enjoyed the vid. Cars like this are meant to be driven (hard), not sat in a garage
@@GautamSharma99991 oh absolutely, thank you so much for the vid! I hope I can get one someday... maybe I will get lucky with my stocks lol.

What's the point of hiding the badge on steering wheel? 😅
Because this car was a prototype. I drove it before the STO was revealed
