One of the things I find awesome about this show, especially in scenes like these, is how it makes the viewer forget they're looking at same-sex romances. It's not a big deal because the show never treats it as one. They're all characters with intriuging stories that happen to also be LGBT-stories, but it's rarely the focus. 🏳🌈🏳⚧
I’m always shocked Gabby and Ellie are together. I feel like Gabby is very stable and Ellie goes off the deep end a lot. I wonder if Ellie hides it a lot so Gabby doesn’t question her?
why this song works so well -music: the music is super high but in a way that makes it sound sweet which makes sense with the song and I enjoy that -vocals: the contrast between the vocals is crazy but good. Tom and Aiden are the better duo with vocals in this situation because Tom has a deep voice (probably a tenor) and Aiden has a higher voice (probably an alto) which adds this nice contrast that’s so satisfying -chorus/lyrics: the lyrics are easy to remember in a way it isn’t that just gets to me in a good way. The way the lyrics progressively lead to the kiss is just so perfect. The voices totally match what the lyrics are trying to convey and I love that. That’s my opinion on this song!!

That was so sweet! Just one thing, they had this opportunity to improve Tess' backstory here for example by making her emotional about the song and then she opens up about a past unfortunate relationship or sth that she had (for example the guy passed away for a reason) and that was the reason that she took the pills in the second season! This even could lead to a closer relationship with Aiden and others who mentioned we barely talked last season!🙂 They missed this chance but the song and overall was amaaaazing❤️

@TXTALLYDR4MATIC I think people where more distracted by Tom and Aiden possibly kissing and all the drama. Gabby and Ellie have been pretty low on drama wich isn't that bad espesially like that their the most stable relationship in the show.

I love that this doesn't sound perfect, the whole point of the show is how completely different people get casted who seem a little more grounded in reality versus what Total Drama is. Ellie and Tom don't seem like types who practice singing as a hobby ever but Aiden and Gabby definitely do. Ellie sort of being at a low tone, almost speak singing totally makes sense for her charcter and still sounds good! Tom sounded great too. Dont get me wrong I love this song, it not being record label quality fits the aesthetic of the show and I love that about it.

Is a Undisputed fact (honestly for my tastes I like the magenta's rock song way better because here the lyrics by comparison for me were kinda "meh". But Objectively were really surprised by Gabby's voice. As a character, the Girl ain't the sharpest tool in the box but She can totally sing. If Aiden is the lead, She right there as 2nd). Ellie and Tom are acting mostly backup. (Tom going low to Aiden's Alto. He's kinda of essential otherwise You got no one else who can act bass in the team and Ellie's voice is subtle doing mostly harmony) Tess pratically ain't singing at all 😅 or better She does but You can Barely hear it (her part is singed over by Gabby). I like to think for how they performed It match with Their characters personality.

I love that this doesn't sound perfect, the whole point of the show is how completely different people get casted who seem a little more grounded in reality versus what Total Drama is. Ellie and Tom don't seem like types who practice singing as a hobby ever but Aiden and Gabby definitely do. Ellie sort of being at a low tone, almost speak singing totally makes sense for her charcter and still sounds good! Tom sounded great too. Dont get me wrong I love this song, it not being record label quality fits the aesthetic of the show and I love that about it.

Aiden is the best vocalist of all 3 teams combined. Is a Undisputed fact (honestly for my tastes I like the magenta's rock song way better because here the lyrics by comparison for me were kinda "meh". But Objectively were really surprised by Gabby's voice. As a character, the Girl ain't the sharpest tool in the box but She can totally sing. If Aiden is the lead, She right there as 2nd).
Ellie and Tom are acting mostly backup. (Tom going low to Aiden's Alto. He's kinda of essential otherwise You got no one else who can act bass in the team and Ellie's voice is subtle doing mostly harmony)
Tess pratically ain't singing at all 😅 or better She does but You can Barely hear it (her part is singed over by Gabby). I like to think for how they performed It match with Their characters personality.
