Super tutorial. These lovely little frogs will, hopefully, be the closures for a faux corset on my friends Red Wedding dress... After a practice, or two...... :) Thank you, Krisi.

Awesome! Thank you so much for teaching me this. It took me few tries before I got the hang of how to hold it, but now I have six buttons for my new kung fu training shirt that I made!

Mine didnt work even after I did a drawing and took notes. HINT: when done, both cords DONT come out from the same hole. It looks like this could be a good way to check our work, then try again. Q: how do we make the corresponding buttonhole loop for the other side of the jacket Im making (soon to be seen at Lavoie Boho on FB)? Thank you.

I successfully made a frog closure with your tutorial! Now how does one sew it onto a garment in an attractive manner?

    Greetings from Maine!
This is an excellent tutorial…clear, detailed steps , presented for beginners like me.
I see that this is two-years old.
I hope your first RUclips sewing video will be the beginning of many to come!. I just
    subscribed.
My mother was an excelkent seamstress and made own, too..Sadly,, she never showed me how and I’m just a “wanna-be” sewer.
    Thank goodness for RUclips.
Can you tell us how to pick diameter sizes for the satin rat tail cord?
.What size is needed for 3”frog closures?
Would Jo-Ann’s Fabric have satin cord?
    Thanks !
    Joanne M.
