Excellent! I bought 2 of these last month - Ideal for test equipment. Also used one in the factory for CNC routers as they seem to drive RS232 well with long (30m) cables.
Thanks Stephan, good to hear you also like them too, i totaly agree, and it just installs so quick... i love the LEDs to be honest .. more flashy things in the lab :)))
Thanks for this video. I couldn’t figure out the ports being right to left. Mine setup by default going right to left - com port 9,10,12,11. Unbelievable lol.
Hi Tony, what a great piece of kit. I have a number of PCI - Serial expansion cards that is used for various radio control and remote antenna selection. PCI -serial can be very frustrating as it is of course on the back of the PC and hard work to plug and unplug connectors.. That little 4 way USB to serial looks smart and well built. I'm with you on the LED being a useful addition especially if your waiting for something to happen and suspect a problem with the connected device as the LED will indicate data activity . Only £59 GDP over here so seriously thinking that would be a great addition for me. Nice Product at a fair price.
Hi Ian, Thank you, yes very usefull, oh yeah with PCI and connector in the back, that is a chalance getting those plugged in and out. Do like the LEDs a lot :)
hello Sir i would like to monitor the communication between an automotive scanner and an Automotive ECU. The goal is to know the codes to ask the ECU and make it doing actions from a computer using a teratem or putty console . any idea??

Hey Tony!
