Suede is one of those materials that vary in color depending on the batch those particular shoes were made in. It's just the nature of lamb skin, so sometimes its darker and sometimes its lighter. I guess you just have to be lucky with whatever pair you get. Thankfully my UGG colors arrived how I liked them, but my Birkenstock Bostons (similar material) had to be exchanged since they weren't a color I like. Tbh you really don't notice the slight variations of color unless you compare them with other pairs.
This makes so much sense, and it didn’t cross my mind until later that this of course was the case! Thank you for highlighting this, and I’m “glad” to hear you’ve experienced it too so I’m not alone lol! I’ll be returning this pair because they were just too dark for my taste honestly!!
Love them! I have had a pair of the platform mini Uggs for over a year now and I love them but I defintally don't wear them too often, I just find myself throwing on the regular mini Uggs instead. Oh in case you didn't know I found out that Ugg actually recommends wearing their boots without socks, I have been doing it for a couple of years now and cant go back, the soft fur inside feels so comfy on my feet!
They’re stunning!! And your points are so valid, I’ll 100% most likely end up with my other pair.. but they seem worth it regardless 😂 and ooh I actually didn’t know that about wearing them without socks, gonna have to try that!! I know they were made for surfers in Australia originally, so that makes very much sense 🙈 I’ll do a Tazz review soon, so I’d love to get your input if you have a pair of those as well 😁🌼

@@madisonreynolds9243 Trust me your feet wont sweat when wearing without socks. That is the benefit of being lined in real wool.

OMG I FINALLY GOT THESE! THE ULTRA! MINI! CHESTNUT! SIZE 6! TWO DAYS AGO. I had commented on your video like back in Oct, had my boss order these for me and they just arrived 2 days ago. They had been extremely sold out 😂 I was able to get the classic mini platform in chestnut and the ultra mini in the color sand the new one they came out with on Thanksgiving ❤❤❤ I'm so happy tho, I love the platforms, now I own like 3 pairs of platforms. But the chestnut ultra mini was hard to find. 😅

You're suppose to size down, suede/leather stretch over time. I can't wait for mine. I'm not a fan of the slant but I'm gonna get the one with the slightly taller shaft platform ❤

And Dillards is legit. They work with Ugg? Or whatever it's called. So they're legit, both of your uggs. They are each unique and they do vary in color I think it says that on the website

and yes, I've realized they are heheh... and it makes sense with the colors! at first, it just felt so weird since they looked so different, but it's totally the suede 🙈✨

These were impossible to get on I had to return, even though they probably would fit in the length
Super cute UGG but very uncomfortable. I sized down and the boot just felt really heavy and awkward to walk in.
It is quite a special feel! It gets better as the time goes though, I would say.. at first I think I walked like an elephant lol!! 🙉
I got the ultra minis and couldn't get them on. Sent back and sized up to a 6UK and they're too big 😫I just bought the ultra mini platforms in my regular size 5UK and can't get them on ATALL. I would love to know how you got them on 🙏🏽
ugh I’m so sorry, they are tricky but it gets better!! pro tip: buy a shoehorn from IKEA 😁 that makes it super easy! I have done a video (6 month review) where I also talk about this 🥰 feel free to take a look and good luck!!! You’ll get there I promise lol!✨✨

Curious how they felt in the toe after wearing them for a while? I know theoretically they should have some give but wanted to hear your experience. I’ve currently got the 7 and the 8 and trying to decide. The 7 is snug and my heel doesn’t pop out as much but my toes are right up against the end. The 8 is roomier but a bit too loose at the heel - esp w/o socks (although I plan to wear them with slouchy socks 😊).
The 7s fit me so well now, especially after wearing them! ☺️☺️ They come on so easily and fit like any other shoe, so they did create more room after wearing them too! I’d recommend staying with the 7s but that’s of course up to you!! 😊❣️

Did you size down or regular size?
I know it’s tricky at first but it does get better lol! I’d recommend getting a shoehorn from IKEA, that helps A LOT! 🥰✨ they do stretch after a while though so hang in there!!

I recently got these and went with my original size of 7 but they were slipping out so much, I sized down to a 6 and the heel is still slipping slightly. Do yours slip at all or they’re perfectly secure? Sizing down to a 5 seems crazy bc I’m always a 7
Mine actually doesn’t slip but the feel is absolutely different so I hear what you are saying! It feels different than regular uggs!! Maybe try to size down and test both before you return a pair? 🫶🏼
do you have any idea if the sizing of the regular ultra minis is wonky like the platforms?☺️ i’m size 7 in the tasmans but had to size down for a 6 in the platforms now i may also get a pair of regular ultra minis but worried if i should size down to a 6 once again 🥲🥲
I’ve always had the regular ultra minis before and they’ve never been wonky to me because they don’t have the platform sole! 🥰 my regular size is 8 in regular ultra minis so I’d recommend your regular shoe size for those!

Are they flexible on the sole or they stiff to walk in? Do the soles bend at all or flex?
You definitely have to lift your foot more I guess haha, the sole doesn’t bend that much but I won’t say that it feels stiff to walk in them - you just gotta be careful with your ankles from time to time is what I’d say!! 😊
My girl wear 7 1/2 in sneakers i should get the 8s or the 7s ?
I am a regular 8 and the size 7 fit me perfectly, so if she's a 7 I'd probably recommend getting the 6, but if she's more towards an 8 I'd say the 7! I hope this will be helpful!

Are they warm enough? I want to give this to my girlfriend as a gift at Christmas but I read that they aren’t warm like the normal UGGs. So I’m a lil bit concerned 😕
I think 100% that they are, especially with the large platform sole that brings you closer away from the ground! If she's been looking into them I'd absolutely recommend buying ☺

@@Amy-tg7tu I would say that the boot is a little bit too big when she’s wearing thin socks. With thicker ones it’s okay. I guess that a size between 38 and 39 would be perfect but UGG doesn’t have it unfortunately.

Taking into account the health of your foot, I would have tighter ankle and wiggle room for the feet because with time you can develop issues with squashed toes.

I have a US size 8 in all of my shoes!! And the size 7’s fits me perfectly in these 😇 definitely recommend sizing down!

ugh I don't have the bow ones unfortunately :(( but if they are similar to the regular mini uggs then I would say yes!! 🥰
The reason why they feel a little bigger because they’re meant to be worn with socks to give it the extra room
