hello. 1000+ chapters of detective conan reader here. Basically he is a famous teenage detective who after getting caught by some bad guys, gets poisoned and left for dead EXCEPT instead of killing him it turns him into a 6 year old. His objectives are getting turned back to normal and finding info on the organisation that made the drug (without letting them know he's alive). He still solves mysteries but since it would be weird for a six y/o to be so smart, instead he knocks out his kinda-girlfriend's failed detective of a father with sleeping darts and uses a bowtie voice modulator to speak for him and share his deductions, which is a much more reasonable solution. It's absolutly insane and i'm obsessed with it. The cases are genuily well crafted and compelling, there's a reason it's been going on for 25 years or something. Would recommand to anyone who likes mysteries and self contained cases, would not recommand to anyone who gets invested in the overarching plot because a snail looks fast in comparison (as i said 1000+ chapters. detedtive stories likers' one piece).
