Impressive demonstration of Japanese garden design and installation. Unusual materials, perspective, aesthetics compared to boring, common place western trends. Congratulations!
I love the round window. It will create a Zen focal point in the garden. The plants and rocks in front of the bamboo wall create a stunning design. ❤️👍
The circular hole opened in the wall, the paving stones elevated at one end and the beautiful large stone set through the curb are all such unexpected and energizing elements in the design. They allow one's eye to move through the two horizontal dimensions of the garden and then the Dai cedars brings the viewer to the third, vertical dimension. One can only dream of having such a great choice of stone elements available for gardens! This is a masterpiece in the making! Thank you for presenting it so well.
Thank you! You are so right! Keep looking forward to the contrast between the straight lines of the Dai cedar and the curved bamboo fence we'll make in the next video!😊
I hope when this garden is complete, that you will come back when it has grown in and show us how it looks as the plants take their rightful place... think it will be beautiful
I really enjoy gardeningIt is very interesting to see how other cultures approach gardening . We can see the wonderful traditions as well as some modern takes on things. Beautiful work.
That's right! It really takes a lot of time and effort to learn this technique. I, too, believe that it is because of this skill that a garden like this is possible.
It’s so relaxing to watch your videos. Your work is really beautiful. I admire the way you overcome challenging spaces and still deliver heavy elements into the right places that were awaiting for those pieces to complete harmony and balance. Your work inspires me greatly. 🙏 thank you.
Wow! It's really coming together! I love the circular hole in the cement wall; I think that area of the garden with the tsukubai is going to be so awesome!
I see you folks have snow catchers on your roofs. That means you must get significant snow. We have lots of houses with snow catchers here in upstate New York on the shore of Lake Ontario too because we get bombed with snow in winter. 😁 love the bamboo fence. Love the house too.
Si supieran lo mucho que he aprendido con ustedes. Valla ahora puedo decir que cada espacio se puede mejorar. Y en mi casa lo estoy poniendo en practica. Saludos de Mexico
Amazing job, I was a little amazed they didn't protective goggles. On the wall, are the roof tiles tied up so the wind doesn't don't remove them away? I imagine it's because of the typhoons in Japan. The bamboo fences, I think it lacked the characteristic lace of the Japanese pattern, but it's still beautiful. Thanks
Thank you for your watching!!✨

The bamboo wall, and stucco walls are wonderful. I really like the shadows and light from the trees and sun. Very shibui desu.
This garden is definitely "Shibui"!

안녕하세요 장인의 숨결이 느껴 지네요 ..수성페인트 위에도 미장 작업이 가능한가요
Can you please make a video on how to tie those posts together to make the tripod that the chain hoist goes on to lift the heavy rocks?
