I feel like Mark is trying to stop the clock because he's been the one breaking character/role most and always leaving hints and secret messages while Ethan is slowly accepting their fate. Cause we see Ethan is the one with the Scythe and Mark with the clock and in one of the outros(animated) he paused it and in another outro the clock went back up a second but started going down again. And in the livestream you see Mark breaking character and asking Ethan strange questions such as "Have you destabilized yet?" Or staring at the camera speaking no words but his grin getting wider meanwhile Ethan show no symptoms except for that video where 2 Ethans pop up when Mark was about to kill Ethan. Plus also during the live stream it was said many times 'we've tried to fight the clock but lost every time so we just gotta accept it'.And also Ethan is starting to show no sign of being upset with deleting the videos plus the channel itself while before he was asking for more time and wasn't ready to leave so his sudden change in mood boggles me.

please.. rest if you need and dont overwork, take it from me, my favorite artist died recently in the middle of making a work that was the best yet (i read the unfinished version.) I now get extremely paranoid about this kind of stuff so just work at your own pace!

Omg this is so amazing! It might be rushed but it hit me so deep! I still love it a lot!💕💕 I'll try to interpret what i felt from this vid: when Ethan got to Mark or Marks mind, Mark couldnt see him and Ethan couldnt touch him so Mark was probably a ghost at this point. We see Mark having flashbacks of him and Ethan laughing, to him bleeding which i think was when he got killed, to him sitting in front of a computer with a bloody mouth which i think is him working himself to death. And we see Mark sitting in front of a more broken sideways hourglass then we hear the lyrics of him questioning his worth, his imperfections, and finally questioning if he's human or something else. He eventually teared up maybe thinking that he is a monster and not worth anything, and Ethan got too late to tell him otherwise. And then we cut to the screen where Unus attacked and possibly killed Annus and Mark. Unus killed them before Ethan can get to Mark and bring him back to reality. When he realized this, he said that he got to him too late and said that they can stop the clock now. He saw that he was too late and Mark was a lost cause that he couldnt save.

Blank ERROR its been so long but i just wanna say that what if we scratch the idea that Mark is dead from my original comment. Heres what i think with a fresh ready to cronk mind: so Ethan is in Marks mind but Mark is too far gone. He doesnt see nor feel Ethans presence since he is so tired and he lost all awareness from it. He worked himself so hard to the point he didnt have the strength to fight Annus anymore nor did he bother to ever look at the screen. He just felt lonely and depressed and he felt like he wasnt worth it. As for the screen, Unus and Annus are fighting but Mark either no longer cares or he doesnt seem to notice due to his fatigue. When Ethan realized that he couldnt save Mark, couldnt get him back to his feet and overcome Annus, he just gave up. He gave up and saw that he couldnt save Mark since he was too late and he no longer sees any reason to fight Annus when Mark cant even be saved so i guess thats what Ethan meant by stopping the time. I have a gut feeling this is not what you meant in the story but, its what i feel i can interpret it as. I appreciate your hardwork and for correcting me, it made me work hard to analyze this. I took me the whole day to ponder on this vid alone. Anyways i had fun sharing this opinion, love ya and take a break pls. You work so hard but I'd hate to see you burn out before your prime cuz u overworked yourself. Take good care and rest and eat well cuz u deserve it.

I have never cried more at a song that I related to and that relates to this story you've been trying to create off of the thought of Unus Annus. (Kinda keep laughing at the word butt on the butt tho). I love it! I've decided to share my thesis on where this is going and how I see the story that you're trying to tell since it seems like you like them and others as well! I did pull inspirations from others and liked them because they seemed to fit, so if you see a shortened repeat that's why. Ethan and Mark, of course, is a reincarnation of Unus and Annus, gods of some unknown source, most likely THE meaning of Memento Mori. Ethan and Mark, however, never new in the beginning, because they weren't together. When they first met, it was like a instant zing between the two after Ethan did his famous backflip in front of Mark. As they connected more, the small thought of Unus Annus popped in their heads, not them being Unus Annus, but just the thought of the channel. As they grew together, they decided to make Unus Annus. As they made videos together they realized why they had specifically made themselves the characters Unus and Annus, because they WERE. Ethan, though creeped out, was a bit curious to go find out what it means. He would see himself with white eyes in is black suit almost every where, and figured it was Unus. He would explore what it meant and came terms to accept it. In the mean time, Mark was confused, he didn't understand that he could be someone, *something*, else, than Mark Fischbach. He was rejecting Annus, the need for Mark to find himself in Annus was great but he kept ignoring it because of the black void he saw every time in his eyes. It some what scared him knowing, a caring person like him had those eyes, eyes that didn't seem to care. As these months went on, Mark and Annus would fight over, essentially, the control of Mark's body, to show him that he, Annus, will not be ignored forever. Mark kept fighting until realized he had a fate to uphold after Annus temporarily possessed that bird it Part 4 to show Mark that he can't stop who he is, that he's really a dark person, he is Annus. Mark breaks down in Part 6, giving up, accepting Annus or at least, the thought that he exists and that they are a part of each other. Mark is unsure and doesn't understand why the clock has stopped or why Annus wants it stopped and is unsure of who he is. During this, Mark just seems to disappear, worrying everyone. As Mark and Annus have their time together that they needed, Annus is in control of his body and trying to keep time from continuing. Annus has seemed to have stopped the clock, shown when Mark and Annus were "exploring" his inner mind. Annus wants to stop the clock because of Unus and Annus being a part of a whole he doesn't want to be. When Ethan shows up, Annus is infuriated, because he knows Unus is in there, and Unus wants the clock to continue. The only way for Mark and Ethan to be themselves again is if they can keep the clock going, but after Ethan tells Unus that he can't save Mark, Unus realized they needed to stop the clock for them to be free and for Unus Annus to become whole again. Now comes the prediction part of this whole story: Unus and Ethan find a way to stop the clock. They find a way to save Mark, but Unus and Annus are stuck in a battle, outside of Mark's and Ethan's body. When they had left they left scars on the two, which, when asked they said it was a burn from a failed video of the channel, but their physical wounds other than that created by the fighting were gone. Mark and Ethan accept what happened, but Mark needed a lot of time to heal more than Ethan, for he held Annus, essentially the bad guy of the story. I'm so sorry that took so long to read but I hope you enjoy it! (I did have to fix it so if it looks different from if you read it before or notifications why that why. I didn't realize I hadn't watched part 8 yet)

So basically Unus and Annus are extremes of what we know Mark and Ethan's largest emotions to be on camera: Unus being sensitive and tired, Annus being cruel and manipulative. Both of these are not what Mark and Ethan want to be, as Mark feels broken because of how much his damage to others is damaging himself. Ethan feels like he's drowning in his emotions, only being held up by this kindness that he has, which is spotty at best.
I avoided watching this....and I think I'll only watch one of your animatics because I don't want to watch these to remember. it only reminds me that I need to remember and that I can't just go watch their videos again...I never expected something like a RUclips channel to make me feel like this

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS A LOT. Ethan made it to Mark’s mind bubble. But he wasn’t fully there. He couldn’t reach out to him. But he saw and heard what Mark was feeling. Mark the entire time in this video felt that he was a bad person or that there was no more good left in him. He basically watched himself Kill one of his best friends. So you know that can mess a person up. His hair is a lot longer. Thought I should point that out. The lyrics “please won’t someone take me home before I lose my mind” is Mark after he realized that he truly has no more control over his actions, he wants to be taken out of his mind bubble before he loses himself more than he already has. When the lyrics/Mark says “am I human or something else” in the something else part Annus shows up. Mark isn’t sure which one he really is. Further supporting the one in the same theory. And the Ethan tells Unus that he couldn’t reach him and out if no where unus say “WE CAN STOP THE CLOCK” which is a lot to take in. What does it mean?!?!?
Also Mark says “cause I’m so scared and there’s no one there” after this lyric it pans over to Ethan who is crying next to Mark because he IS there but he knows that Mark can’t hear or see him. Mark then says that there’s no one there “to save me from the nightmare I call myself” which we all know the one causing the nightmare is Annus so again, one in the same. This video is freaking heartbreaking by the way. Good job.

I'll try to interpret what i felt from this vid: when Ethan got to Mark or Marks mind, Mark couldnt see him and Ethan couldnt touch him so Mark was probably a ghost at this point. We see Mark having flashbacks of him and Ethan laughing, to him bleeding which i think was when he got killed, to him sitting in front of a computer with a bloody mouth which i think is him working himself to death. And we see Mark sitting in front of a more broken sideways hourglass then we hear the lyrics of him questioning his worth, his imperfections, and finally questioning if he's human or something else. He eventually teared up maybe thinking that he is a monster and not worth anything, and Ethan got too late to tell him otherwise. And then we cut to the screen where Unus attacked and possibly killed Annus and Mark. Unus killed them before Ethan can get to Mark and bring him back to reality. When he realized this, he said that he got to him too late and said that they can stop the clock now. He saw that he was too late and Mark was a lost cause that he couldnt save.

Blank ERROR its been so long but i just wanna say that what if we scratch the idea that Mark is dead from my original comment.
Heres what i think with a fresh ready to cronk mind: so Ethan is in Marks mind but Mark is too far gone. He doesnt see nor feel Ethans presence since he is so tired and he lost all awareness from it. He worked himself so hard to the point he didnt have the strength to fight Annus anymore nor did he bother to ever look at the screen. He just felt lonely and depressed and he felt like he wasnt worth it. As for the screen, Unus and Annus are fighting but Mark either no longer cares or he doesnt seem to notice due to his fatigue. When Ethan realized that he couldnt save Mark, couldnt get him back to his feet and overcome Annus, he just gave up. He gave up and saw that he couldnt save Mark since he was too late and he no longer sees any reason to fight Annus when Mark cant even be saved so i guess thats what Ethan meant by stopping the time.
I have a gut feeling this is not what you meant in the story but, its what i feel i can interpret it as. I appreciate your hardwork and for correcting me, it made me work hard to analyze this. I took me the whole day to ponder on this vid alone. Anyways i had fun sharing this opinion, love ya and take a break pls. I have never cried more at a song that I related to and that relates to this story you've been trying to create off of the thought of Unus Annus. (Kinda keep laughing at the word butt on the butt tho). I love it!
I've decided to share my thesis on where this is going and how I see the story that you're trying to tell since it seems like you like them and others as well! I did pull inspirations from others and liked them because they seemed to fit, so if you see a shortened repeat that's why.
Ethan and Mark, of course, is a reincarnation of Unus and Annus, gods of some unknown source, most likely THE meaning of Memento Mori. Ethan and Mark, however, never new in the beginning, because they weren't together. When they first met, it was like a instant zing between the two after Ethan did his famous backflip in front of Mark. As they connected more, the small thought of Unus Annus popped in their heads, not them being Unus Annus, but just the thought of the channel. As they grew together, they decided to make Unus Annus. As they made videos together they realized why they had specifically made themselves the characters Unus and Annus, because they WERE. Ethan, though creeped out, was a bit curious to go find out what it means. He would see himself with white eyes in is black suit almost every where, and figured it was Unus. He would explore what it meant and came terms to accept it. In the mean time, Mark was confused, he didn't understand that he could be someone, *something*, else, than Mark Fischbach. He was rejecting Annus, the need for Mark to find himself in Annus was great but he kept ignoring it because of the black void he saw every time in his eyes. It some what scared him knowing, a caring person like him had those eyes, eyes that didn't seem to care. As these months went on, Mark and Annus would fight over, essentially, the control of Mark's body, to show him that he, Annus, will not be ignored forever. Mark kept fighting until realized he had a fate to uphold after Annus temporarily possessed that bird it Part 4 to show Mark that he can't stop who he is, that he's really a dark person, he is Annus. Mark breaks down in Part 6, giving up, accepting Annus or at least, the thought that he exists and that they are a part of each other. Mark is unsure and doesn't understand why the clock has stopped or why Annus wants it stopped and is unsure of who he is. During this, Mark just seems to disappear, worrying everyone. As Mark and Annus have their time together that they needed, Annus is in control of his body and trying to keep time from continuing. Annus has seemed to have stopped the clock, shown when Mark and Annus were "exploring" his inner mind. Annus wants to stop the clock because of Unus and Annus being a part of a whole he doesn't want to be. When Ethan shows up, Annus is infuriated, because he knows Unus is in there, and Unus wants the clock to continue. The only way for Mark and Ethan to be themselves again is if they can keep the clock going, but after Ethan tells Unus that he can't save Mark, Unus realized they needed to stop the clock for them to be free and for Unus Annus to become whole again.
Now comes the prediction part of this whole story:
Unus and Ethan find a way to stop the clock. They find a way to save Mark, but Unus and Annus are stuck in a battle, outside of Mark's and Ethan's body. When they had left they left scars on the two, which, when asked they said it was a burn from a failed video of the channel, but their physical wounds other than that created by the fighting were gone. Mark and Ethan accept what happened, but Mark needed a lot of time to heal more than Ethan, for he held Annus, essentially the bad guy of the story.
I'm so sorry that took so long to read but I hope you enjoy it! (I did have to fix it so if it looks different from if you read it before or notifications why that why. I didn't realize I hadn't watched part 8 yet)

So basically Unus and Annus are extremes of what we know Mark and Ethan's largest emotions to be on camera: Unus being sensitive and tired, Annus being cruel and manipulative. Both of these are not what Mark and Ethan want to be, as Mark feels broken because of how much his damage to others is damaging himself. Ethan feels like he's drowning in his emotions, only being held up by this kindness that he has, which is spotty at best.

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS A LOT. Ethan made it to Mark’s mind bubble. But he wasn’t fully there. He couldn’t reach out to him. But he saw and heard what Mark was feeling. Mark the entire time in this video felt that he was a bad person or that there was no more good left in him. He basically watched himself Kill one of his best friends. So you know that can mess a person up. His hair is a lot longer. Thought I should point that out. The lyrics “please won’t someone take me home before I lose my mind” is Mark after he realized that he truly has no more control over his actions, he wants to be taken out of his mind bubble before he loses himself more than he already has. When the lyrics/Mark says “am I human or something else” in the something else part Annus shows up. Mark isn’t sure which one he really is. Further supporting the one in the same theory. And the Ethan tells Unus that he couldn’t reach him and out if no where unus say “WE CAN STOP THE CLOCK” which is a lot to take in. What does it mean?!?!?
Also Mark says “cause I’m so scared and there’s no one there” after this lyric it pans over to Ethan who is crying next to Mark because he IS there but he knows that Mark can’t hear or see him. Mark then says that there’s no one there “to save me from the nightmare I call myself” which we all know the one causing the nightmare is Annus so again, one in the same. This video is freaking heartbreaking by the way. Good job.
