Cooper i have been watching you on this channel since the beginning. It is fairly obvious that you are a mechanical genius. I have observed your personality blossom as you have finished your high school years and continuing your life's profession. Simply amazing young man. Your mom and dad have done a wonderful job raising you. Remind them tonight how much you appreciate and love them!!
Cooper, the sunset was beautiful! It’s good to hear you talking, we don’t hear much from you usually. We love August! Thank you for sharing him with us. Nice tractor! It was great getting to spend time with you and August.
Cooper, I really enjoyed your explanation of cutting the grass/alfalfa. I also like watching you rake the hay. You do an excellent job of narrating what you are doing. You'd make a very good teacher. Heck, you already ARE a teacher when it comes to explaining and showing what you are doing. Great video!!
Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach. Cooper is a good farmer and mechanic, he doesn't need to be a teacher. We treat our teachers like dirt, minimum wage, no authority, then unionize them so we strip their dedication to students and train them to complain and whine.
Thanks Van Wall/John Deere for letting Cooper demo the equipment. It looks like great equipment and Cooper is a good salesman. Always like to see the green.
Always the perfect way to end a busy work day here: watching Cole and Cooper working that farm. Amazing video today of the Deere doing a great job with Cooper at the wheel.
Hello Cole, Cooper, and all the Corn Star Family and friends. I enjoy all of the farming video's, planting, harvesting, haying, and grave digging when needed. So important to help loved ones care for the graves of the dearly departed. So great to see all that goes into the equipment you use and maintenance of the equipment. Awesome video's keep them coming.
This video, very well done. Seeing you running the JD and having fun doing it, very cool! Cooper, you and your family are a BIG part of the Heartbeat of America. Farmers rule!!
Cooper, thank you for the showing us around the tractor and mower - they’re awesome pieces of equipment! Thank you also for the Augie Doggy fix - he’s adorable. In New England we would call it a waterway.
Cooper you make me want that tractor and some equipment to go with it and I don't do any farming lol. Thanks John Deere for the demo. Sunset view is beautiful.
Nice job Cooper. The loaner equipment is very nice. What a blessing that could be coordinated for you this season. Thanks for taking time to share with us.
Cooper has a great speaking voice, camera presence and he understands what viewers want to hear and see. As long as his vocabulary grows as he grows he should give some thought to TV evening news ~ especially TV Farming news. Good Job Cooper.
Doing a good job with the commentary Cooper. Beautiful sunset. It’s nice that farmers are getting a more comfortable ride when doing the field work. August seems to enjoy the ride.. you got a great dog…
Interesting video!! Hay making is always a busy time of the year! I good to see a young man who wants to be in the farming world and is willing to put the hard work and long hours in!! I hope your hay empire goes from strength to strength!!
Cooper great job! You are such a hard worker! So proud of you drinking your water instead of soda! Cole the front porch deck looks fabulous! Thank you John Deere dealer!
Great narration Cooper and thanks for teaching us about making hay and the equipment. Actually looking at a 6135M so I'm glad to hear a red tractor guy share his thoughts.
As your mowing services expand, you might need a few of these green dream machines. It will interesting to see how efficient the big Deere is to operate and the effect on your bottomline.
It looks like a lot more hay this year. I imagine it is pretty nice to have all the new equipment to try out. It looks and sound great. I would like to see the bailer in action too. Thank you for showing us all of this. A lot to do to get that stuff in to bails.
Cooper, I’m so proud of you for building this business! You & Cole clearing all that ground of scrap metal then turning it into a working field was some of my favorite footage. Took a lot of work & some very choice words from the scrap guy🤣. But, farmable land is invaluable & you’re taking advantage of every single acre you can cut. Plus, I love watching raking & baling too. Balers & combines are my favorite machines. Rakes are very satisfying bc it organizes the win rows.
Thank you Cooper. I am impressed with you, your explanation and tour of the tractor and mowing operation. Well done. When does August get his driver’s license?
When I was in high school, I worked part time for a hay processer here in California. Since the humidity is much lower during the day and the hay dries out, almost all hay processing (raking, bailing) is done at night. At night the humidity would go up and introduce moisture back into the alfalfa so the leaves would not fall off. So, I would start work at 7:00 p/m and work till about 1:00 to 2:00 a/m. It was a little spooky on moonless nights.
I used to be on the hay wagon. Catching the rectangular bales and stacking them. Your video brought back memories. There is nothing like the smell of a fresh bale of hay!
Cooper, glad to see you trying some green equipment. One suggestion I have is to turn the drawbar over on the tractor when you hook up the baler it'll help avoid catching and dragging the large windrows and also opens the pickup more. Just be careful with the hoses and cables I had to reroute them out the bottom of the hitch so the PTO wouldn't rub on them in a sharp turn like you will encounter doing waterways. And for all the people commenting on the loose lug bolts, those are the jack screws to push the wedges loose to move the wheels in or out. The important ones look to be tight!!
Appreciate it but I wasn't looking for anything just wanted to offer a couple tips that I found helpful, one other thing I thought of is that most of the time the blades on the mower can be turned over but unless you're trying to mow a lawn they don't have to be razor sharp.
In NW IA it's called a "waterway", because the grass planted in them keeps the water rushing along a defined path. The "waterway" is one method used to help prevent soil erosion... and potentially washing out crops.
Cooper, the sunset in front of the tractor was the calendar shot. And pretty soon, August is gonna want the buddy seat folded down so the riding position is better. Cole, It's called a farmer's tan. Sun burnt face neck, chest arms, and pale from the waist down.
that Deere tractor sure seems like a good fit. thanks VanWall Implement. Cooper, you got a great sense of humor. It's nice to hear some quips while you talk.
Cole, You might want to check the John Deere’s bolts holding the driver’s side rear wheel on, if you go to 3:24 you will see there is about 5 tight, 4 loose and 1 missing.
I don't live on a farm anymore, but that Deere is damn impressive. I thought I was the king when I ran our diesel Deutz-Allis. I was the king on the 8N, 9N, and Golden Jubilee.
Cooper it’s so nice to hear you admiring the sunset...several times over!! Sometimes I get the impression that you’re ‘too cool for school’...! When you comment on such a basic thing as the sunset, makes me think you’re starting to ‘adult’!! Plus, your commentary and comfort in front of the camera has really improved!
Hi ya Cooper, you're getting spoilt with all the nice new equipment you've been lucky enough to run these past couple of years, but I guess you've paid your dues with all the old stuff for long enough. It's amazing how comfy & quiet that John Deere is & I'm looking forward to seeing how she copes with the JD baler. 😀🇬🇧
If they make you a good deal on the package, do it. Each piece of equipment is dependable and has good reliability. If you look closely at the forage business, as a business, it can be good to you as long as you have hay ground and are willing to feed the ground to increase volume and quality. A good reputation for producing quality forage and you won't have to look for customers.
The tractor that I learned to drive on also had a sunroof... Well, it didn't have any roof at all to be fair. No cab, or door, or anything like that. None of them fancy frills... Just a roll over bar, four wheels, a steering wheel, and an engine. LOL. The first implement that I was trained on and learned to use was a MoCo as well. Nothing like driving tractor and implement down a two-lane windy highway with a cliff on one side, as a 15-year-old with no driver's license yet. I sure as heck thought I was pretty cool though, and it was one of the best ways I could think of to learn how to drive (anything) on roads like that. Of course, the tractor and implement were both green, so I've always leaned towards green since then. Anyway, boy do those new tractors look slick and awfully nice. Thanks for sharing it with us, Cooper. That mullet is coming along nicely, and looking awfully majestic and magical as well!
I like the tractor sunset shot as you said very refreshing.Baling wash outs make a lot of sense . I mow with a 61 inch walk behind (my yard) and still hit shit. Good luck with your mower/baling and to all at Corn star Farms. As for showing your Truck I think it would be inspirational to the young ones. Peace Out
Wow, that was quick. Looks like you are moving very fast, so smooth. Beautiful sunset ... Great lights system. Yes, lights much better. Love your puppy. This is some tractor. All the best.
Cole, if you paint the underside of your porch blue it will keep the birds away. Very common and quite beautiful. If you don’t want to paint , you could use blue siding also.
Cooper, the best hay you can make is cut between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, hay cut before 10 has too much moisture and hay cut after 3 will take one to two extra days to dry compared to what you mowed between 10 and 3. You take too much chance on the weather when you need more time to bale it. You can test what I’m telling you by marking your field to identify what you cut before 10 and after three. You can bale what is cut between 10:00 and 3:00 at least one full day quicker. Good luck.
Try slowing down some on the alfalfa. It won't pull up all of it but our old gehl discbine would pick it up some. Also try adjusting the head tilt down if the is anymore tilt left and the field is a good one. Last but not least if you drop the part in the back by the rollers it will lay out the window to help it dry faster as well. Good luck buddy... It should be red stuff but it never hurts to try it out!
Make sure you have enough Net Wrap for the Baler. Might need a trailer for the extra rolls of Net Wrap. Or straps to carry on the side of the Baler. Roof rack on the tractor?

@@donaldgulledge729 Did you get carried away a bit, Don?😄
Smooth ground we run 12-13 mph or faster 4 swathers running knock out alot of acreage love the videos god bless
I love the cheerful mood Cooper was in. He really enjoys mowing, there is such a pleasure radiating from it
Thanks Van Wall/John Deere for letting Cooper demo the equipment. It looks like great equipment and Cooper is a good salesman. Always like to see the green.
One of the perks of being a farmer and outside so much is getting to see the sunsets! Very nice piece of machinery.
Thank you Cooper for filming a well done and informative video! That sunset shot was epic! Glad you are enjoying the new and FASTER mower!😊
Beautiful sunset! Thanks for stopping to share with us, Cooper.
That dog is adorable. Also, Cooper's hay operation is satisfying to watch, please give us more.
Always the perfect way to end a busy work day here: watching Cole and Cooper working that farm. Amazing video today of the Deere doing a great job with Cooper at the wheel.

I really enjoyed watching cooper. Such hard working young men. We need more like you and cole.
Cooper you make me want that tractor and some equipment to go with it and I don't do any farming lol.
Thanks John Deere for the demo.
Sunset view is beautiful.
Thank you John Deere for allowing this demo. Very impressive equipment since I last farmed.
Beats the John Deere A. I spent a lot of hours on one. No electric start. Open petcocks set mag and spin the flywheel.
Nice job Cooper. The loaner equipment is very nice. What a blessing that could be coordinated for you this season. Thanks for taking time to share with us.

Really enjoyed the time with Cooper and August. Thank you!
The porch decking at your house looks great Cole.
I'm glad to hear you'll be doing some more house videos soon. 👍
Interesting video!!
Hay making is always a busy time of the year!
I good to see a young man who wants to be in the farming world and is willing to put the hard work and long hours in!!

Was so happy to ride along with Coop, I’m still his number one fan!! Beautiful sunset, great farming , keep up the good work 👍

Great job Cooper! Really enjoyed you comments. Looking forward to the baling show.
Sweet ride. Congratulations Cooper!! Hope it can come and live with you permanently!!!
Really like having Cooper in the videos! And Auggie is so stinkin’ cute.
An all-Cooper show! So fun. But I am still hoping for a video where he shows the hay being wrapped into those rolls. Lots to look forward to.
Cooper, I’m so proud of you for building this business! You & Cole clearing all that ground of scrap metal then turning it into a working field was some of my favorite footage. Can’t wait to see the completion of some of the home projects
Glad your season is going good! Cooper is definitely stepping up his game. Good luck with the rest of the season!
Love Cooper vlogs, he makes mowing look fun
Cole, some said put beadboard in the porch ceiling. Painted light blue to match the sky, it fools wasps and stuff from building nests on it.
Nice hanging out with you Cooper 😃👍🏼
Thanks Cooper. Enjoy your easy banter as you work. Sunset was awesome!
Thank you Cooper. I am impressed with you, your explanation and tour of the tractor and mowing operation. Well done. When does August get his driver’s license?
In Iowa you have to be 16 😂😂

That is the most I've heard Cooper talk since I started following all the Cornstars years ago. Love the pup! Great company in a cab.

Ladies and gents, its the Cooper Super Cut! Thanks for the treat Cole! Great job, Cooper! Thanks for all the recording!
Nothing better than a gorgeous setset with a tractor in the foreground
WOW! All you need is the kitchen sink. Very impressive! It is so nice that tractors are improving to meet the needs of the driver.
Cooper this was very informative to someone like me who is not a farmer. It definitely is a lot of work to make hay. Good luck at the car show!
I can smell this video! Growing up we could always smell the fresh cut hay from farm down the street! That tractor is sweet too
In NW IA it's called a "waterway", because the grass planted in them keeps the water rushing along a defined path.
The "waterway" is one method used to help prevent soil erosion... and potentially washing out crops.
beadboard for the ceiling, it's period correct, painted a pale blue.
Cooper, the sunset in front of the tractor was the calendar shot. And pretty soon, August is gonna want the buddy seat folded down so the riding position is better. Cole, It's called a farmer's tan. Sun burnt face neck, chest arms, and pale from the waist down.
It was refreshing to hear from Cooper, like the smell of a new cab.Refreshing.
that Deere tractor sure seems like a good fit. thanks VanWall Implement. Cooper, you got a great sense of humor. It's nice to hear some quips while you talk.
Real nice visiting with you Cooper! 🚜🚜
Cole I enjoyed your introduction to this video. Very nice and professional. I also enjoy the sunset shots.
Great job, Cooper!!! Entertaining and I learned way more than I needed about bailing, considering I live in a city.
Cole, You might want to check the John Deere’s bolts holding the driver’s side rear wheel on, if you go to 3:24 you will see there is about 5 tight, 4 loose and 1 missing.
I was scrolling to see if anyone mentioned it yet. Hopefully they catch it.
Great video Cooper and that sunset was a bonus. Well done and thanks.
look at 3:25 bolts comming out of wheel hub check your lugs
Glad to see you are taking care of that sweet mullet, Cooper!
Get some reflective insulation for your wrap around porch roof, super thin and simple and will keep some of that radiant heat out.
I don't live on a farm anymore, but that Deere is damn impressive. I thought I was the king when I ran our diesel Deutz-Allis. I was the king on the 8N, 9N, and Golden Jubilee.
Nothing like the smell of fresh mown hay under hot sun. Love it!
Cooper needs a camera all the time, very entertaining
Yeah it's funny how cole got so boring
hes got his own channel was wondering why he was on here for all the video
Cooper has a lot of personality and is expressive and humorous .
Loving the Cooper energy! Hope he will be around more
Cooper it’s so nice to hear you admiring the sunset...several times over!! Sometimes I get the impression that you’re ‘too cool for school’...! 20:38 That is one cool PTO hook up !

Cole you all are doing great. Keep farming and making things happen. It's great watching things as you work so hard on projects.
If they make you a good deal on the package, do it. Each piece of equipment is dependable and has good reliability. That was very fascinating and informative as always; thank you
Love your videos. Have a good night Cole and family.
The onboard coolers on the new stuff is amazing. No more coolers and ice sloshing around in the corner or strapped somewhere on the outside.

Hey coop you can also change directions with the neutral stick, you don’t need to clutch when using thet
Wow, that was quick. Looks like you are moving very fast, so smooth. Beautiful sunset ... Great lights system. Yes, lights much better. Love your puppy. This is some tractor. All the best.
COLE THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GREAT VIDEOS. YOU ARE ALL AWESOME. GOD BLESS YOU ALL IN ALL THINGS.
So cool that you get that sweet ride. Shine On!
Cooper, I'm glad you are pursuing what you are passionate about!
Good to hang out with you Cooper.
Cole, if you paint the underside of your porch blue it will keep the birds away. Very common and quite beautiful. If you don’t want to paint , you could use blue siding also.
Thanks Copper, for showing how to work a mover in the waterways around the planted fields. Well done
True country boy right there. I love every minute of it!
Great and amazing video Cooper. Enjoyed seeing August. He is getting bigger. Hope you had fun on your night out. thank you Cooper
You could call the tractor Curly, the cutter Larry, and then you can Mow.
Cooper, the best hay you can make is cut between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, hay cut before 10 has too much moisture and hay cut after 3 will take one to two extra days to dry compared to what you mowed between 10 and 3. I really enjoyed watching what JD Equipment Capabilities are. I find your Demonstration Very Interesting
As a kid growing up on a farm in the 70s and 80s my Dad used three terms, draw and waterway and slough.
Amazing young man Cooper. Thank you!
Wow, I really enjoy watching and the honest statement of "I wanted to take my pickup in but probably will be baling". That's farming
Try slowing down some on the alfalfa. It won't pull up all of it but our old gehl discbine would pick it up some. Also try adjusting the head tilt down if the is anymore tilt left and the field is a good one. Enjoyed your video Cooper. Glad you're having a good time and experience driving the John Deere. Blessings.
Nice too see that you like the green stuff. John Deere and alfalfa!!
This is my favorite video of the year so far. Awesome content.
Excellent narration Cooper. Learned a lot about hay production.
Make sure you have enough Net Wrap for the Baler. Might need a trailer for the extra rolls of Net Wrap. Or straps to carry on the side of the Baler. Roof rack on the tractor?
Nice to see Cooper more ! Love from the UK
