I’m glad Sindhu won….. but she didn’t face anyone close to her world ranking. She beat someone ranked way outside the top 100 in the world which says way more about the Chinese player than it does about sindhu. Had Sindhu played anyone in the top 15 in the world is very unlikely she’d had won….
Busunan is an inconsistent player at best…. As for Han yu she had a poor game. Sindhu hasn’t got into a final at all in 2024 so I’m lead to believe. Either way…. In a competition like this where the other players are so weak of course she’s going to win…. She’s not playing in the world tour finals because she’s not at that level…..
No seeded players from 1-15.. Increase the prize money. Like Bihar, introduce Job guarantee for winning. Good for Sidhu to get some confidence going forward.
Wu needs to sort that screaming out. Honestly I think it’s so unsportsmanlike to scream when your opponent has made a mistake. You don’t need to scream down every point you win!
