I have the greatest admiration for the people and nation of France for the wonderful restoration work being undertaken for the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris. The beauty of this architectural gem is overwhelming. I visited and attended Mass at the Cathedral on the first Sunday of Easter in1991, and had the good fortune of listening to an organ recital of Cesar Franck’s Three Chorales performed by then Titular Organist Philippe Lefebvre which followed after the Mass. I shall always cherish and will never forget this experience. Notre Dame is God’s gift to the people of France and to the world. All my best wishes to the French people for this amazing undertaking! God bless.

Merci pour ce tour, je sais qu'il faut donc environ 15 minutes en marchant. Enfin des nouvelles de l'avancement du chantier vu de l'extérieur, ce qui manque c'est comment travaillent ceux qui sont dedans. Merci à toutes et tous qui par passion réparent nos erreurs, car c'était une erreur de croire indestructible un monument de 850 ans, il fallait garder une échelle de pompiers à la hauteur, des équipes de veille à la hauteur, des caméras bien qu'elles n'auraient pas rapporté de verbalisation, croire les alarmes, prévoir les moyens de lutte, bref une tuile comme ça vaut bien un toit même si le plomb qu'on aurait du avoir dans la cervelle s'est évaporé.
