Garfield isn't one of the most collected items though. That's why the world record is only 6,000-ish items. As popular as his comic got though you'd think Davis would have been like Peanuts and made all kinds of stuff to sell everywhere, because Charlie Brown is on everything!

We are gathered here today because of youtube suggestions.
I like the early 80s plush Garfield toys, there is lots of them too.
Since schools in the USA have been named Garfield after the president but many people think of the cartoon character when they hear the name "Garfield", people who worked at schools in the USA named Garfield School have picked Garfield merchandise for classroom use (box puzzles to teach critical thinking to first graders, posters, and stuffed animals as a decoration or hall pass, etc.) but I've seen public schools get renamed, so sometimes I imagine faculty of schools that were named Garfield for a long time but the school was renamed replacing their merchandise because merchandise of the cartoon character doesn't match the school's name anymore. Here are samples:
"I have to change the puzzle for my classroom because the character in the picture won't match the school's name anymore. Let me find one with a close number of pieces."
"I have to change the poster because the character in the picture won't match the school's name anymore."
"I have to change the hall pass because Garfield won't match the school's name anymore."

If they’re capable of moving around their home and things are displayed neatly, which seems true in both cases, they’re not hoarders.

I know this is random and you probably don’t care but I found this Garfield blanket A couple years back maybe like 10 years ago end it was from 1978 which is cool and I definitely picked it up because it’s Garfield and it’s so old it was in good condition when I got it and my cats been using it as his blanket basically he sleeps on it and stuff it’s kind of in worse condition than before like it has some scratch marks and stuff but like I’m not gonna put it away because what other uses it to me

I had 3 x different stuffed Garfields when I was a kid and loved them! But they are long gone but I still have some Garfield books and a complete 1989 sticker album.
