Battery size for Tang EV ? Same 108 kWh as before ? Still LFP blade ? Time for 10-80% charge ? Over 40 min like old Tang, or 12 min like new Zeekr ? The rest are just details...
I'm not gonna lie, the Tang L looks ugly. Maybe I'm old school, but I much prefer the previous gen. I'm torn apart because I own a current gen Tang, and I wish to have the ground clearance this one seems to have (from the car driving shots, although I guess it's not final). Plus, I would expect them to have implemented CTB. I've faced ground clearance problems while off-road, but I can't justify getting this over my current Tang because of the looks. It's not that I don't care, I actively dislike it.
beside the fact that he doesn’t look confortable on stage, and that we don’t know who he is, or at least I don’t, there was to much bullshit talk about the design, heritage and bla bla bla. But nothing about the OS, functionalities, security nor performances. A bit light in 2025… does it self parc, does it self drive, does it notice if you are tired, how fast is it does it have 4 directional wheels ? etc...
Hmmm, he is a well-known Chief Car Designer for Alfa Romeo, Audi and Lamborghini.. now working for BYD as Chief Designer en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Egger
Because you need to persuade the masses that this is different than the last 40 cars so they buy it. When in fact it's all the same. The cars are cool but boring. At least they are inspired by local culture somewhat, I just wish they wouldnt lie about performance numbers
The BYD ahead of the rest!!!😊
Hulla. check XiaoPeng, Avatr and Zeekr before talking loud.
@mygarart2764 Time will show😁😁😁
I love it, I want to be the first person to use it in Ghana…thank you…GOD bless You

Because this is a design conference.

The names after Chinese dynasties are deal breaker for me. I don't want Chinese cars that are too chinese, both the design and the names.
BYD Oceans are for you my bro, check BYD Seal, Seal-U and Sea Lion, all good cars
