The area of Jammu & Kashmir under Indian control has changed since its integration. The illegal occupation of Jammu & Kashmir by Pakistan since 1947 and further ceding of Shaksgam valley to China, which already has captured Aksai Chin in the late 1950s has made the situation more complicated.
Yet as per data, approximately 50% of Jammu & Kashmir is under the control of India, while Pakistan and China control 35% and 15% respectively.
