The Shot of the Dolfin coming across the pass was amazing . I bet not many people have witnessed that. Im guessing they were headed there to surround that school. But Fried Mullett at Mikees and a Bunch of Tarter Sauce is the best.
I’ve been fishing my whole life and I consider myself the best dang Old Florida style fisherman left, but I could learn a thing or 2 about this mullet run stuff still. I’m a pecan farmer in the day time so I don’t always get to go fishing in the fall. Every slow season I say I’m going to see the mullet run and I never do but I’m going to find a way 1 day. I catch mullet out of rivers in the summertime but they stay so black now with all the rain that it gets harder and harder. I’m going to have to try and find some in the fall.
With this weather coming through this evening they will probably be there in the morning as well. But some of us have to work for a living. Lol. Good luck!

The Dolphins really put on a show for us coming down the beach the way that they did. I only wish we could've got some better footage of it.
Good Afternoon, could you please tell me where can we go to catch some mullets we live in Ocala Florida, thanks for sharing
Sorry, I'm not familiar with the waters in your neck of the woods. I appreciate you watching though.

We definitely spend our fair share of time chasing them.
We had a big A$$ school of Mullet back in beginning of October in Jacksonville FL
It's always nice when a plan comes together
@448 Outdoors I used to do it for a living. Loved it even when they banned the gill net.
Growing up my dad did it for a living. We were always on the boat with him and we still love it today but we don't do it commercially no more
@448 Outdoors me too. Ide like to catch some now to put on the smoker
I would too but that four letter word keeps getting in the way. Work
Are you on the gulf side?
Yes I'm on the gulf side. With the north wind we had that day the Bayside would have been too rough to fish.
