this video sums up the financial stupidity of the vast majority of Americans. It really isn't hard to believe that the USA is over a trillion in credit card debt
I used to play blackjack at bars when I was the DD in college. Kept a log of wins and losses... I was a dead break even after 4 years.. didn't win, didn't lose. So apparently, I was running a little better than 43% player odds but not much.
I would never ever in a million years go on a trip if I don’t have the money upfront. In fact, my husband and I don’t even have credit cards. We're completely debt and mortgage free in our Forties 🎉
I'm shocked that George and his followers don't understand the concept of stealth wealth. Wealthy people don't like to reveal how much they have in their bank/investment accounts, so asking people how much they have in their checking account is a really dumb question - because the answer is always going to be low. And if it's high, they're probably lying.
Ironically, Goldman Sachs is trying to find a buyer for the Apple Card portfolio (as well as trying to exit its entire consumer business). Card is not working out very well - higher than expected dqs, losses, etc.
Dang if I had known George was there I could have shown you the fun places on a budget! One of my favorite free things to do in Vegas is watch the air force jets. Especially when the Thunderbirds are practicing!
Lord, help us all... that's right George. I have a dear friend that invited me to Las Vegas. I can't justify spending my money in Vegas. I prefer to "invest" in a trip to Europe visit museums and churches.
I enjoy these videos for sure. And entertaining and informative. But if I did have to give one piece of feedback I think the cutaways to memes and movie clips are a bit overused and sort of hurt the pacing of the video, and honestly slightly cringey at times. I think the videos might work better with fewer of them in the future, but keep up the good work.

I worked in LV as a journalist for 3 years, I can tell you that locals have to almost completely avoid the strip (except for work) for 363 days out of the year. The strip is literally designed to suck you dry. You can get a master class in Vegas on how to save money, or go broke learning. I have left, but the lessons working in that city are worth a Kamel special video on their own. I found Ramsey just a month before moving there and it helped guide me through those years and I actually came out of Vegas (during the pandemic) doing alright. 🎉

Had to go to Vegas for a convention. Spent zero in the casino, however, had $115 and a watch stolen out of the room at Mandalay Bay. I did call security, and the told me my wife took it and gambled with it. What he didn’t know was that it was actually money my wife brought for buying some souvenirs for the kids. Right out of the bottom of her suitcase.
@@Mactakun not in this case. The last thing I worry about is my wife gambling. She wouldn’t even buy a lottery ticket. Plus, we were together all the time on this trip.

George blushing watching Magic Mike 😂
more boots on the ground content, great stuff George!
I think you should do this in Nashville as well. It’s a great tourist area with tons of “stuff” that you “MUST” do.
The guy walking away from his purse-loving SO just laughing 😂
Oldest 21 year I have ever seen.
It's the gambling.
The thing with vegas is to quit when you're up. Last time i left $80 above what i started with and was happy with that

Scary! Most people who go to Vegas would be better off if they stayed at home instead.
Crazy and sad to think how much money people will be losing this upcoming Super Bowl weekend there
"I know mucho dinero" 😂😂 God bless ya George!
Wow such a small sample of interviewees yet they summed up 96% of Americans💀
Broke people live like they're rich/wealthy .... rich/wealthy people do the exact opposite.

This was an extra good one!
Consumer debt freedom in March. Counting the days.
Congratulations!
Love when you hit the streets George 👏💯
The best way to walk out of a casino with 1 million dollars is to walk in with 2 million.
She is going to “invest” on purses, but will be using a credit card, possibly paying more in interest for depreciating assets. 😢

Watching this LITERALLY the day after I came back from Las Vegas! I went in with a budget, went a little over, and it still hurts lol.

I started comedy in LV. I stayed with a reality star so I didn't spend an extra penny.

Build your own Muppet type puppet in our workshop at LV Puppet Studio in Las Vegas and practice your left handed puppetry skills! 😃
Anyone who has $80K in student loans should not be allowed to gamble
Right?! That’s just embarrassing. But so is having no idea what’s in your checking account and buying high end purses.
That brother was like “ stop the cap”
Those of us who live in Vegas often do it for wise financial reasons, including no state income taxes and lower cost-of-living! :)

Nice video George!! I live in Las Vegas but I never gamble cause I have self respect. I work and sacrifice too much to get out of debt…
The important takeaway from all of this is that George went to see Magic Mike.
Great job George Kamel with a K! Love the knowledge and the snark, keep up the awesome job! - Matt in TEXAS
When I was young there is no way I could have ever spent that much on a credit card, I didn't even have credit cards. That is crazy.
MLM. Lost 8k. Life lesson lol
gambling on credit, how dumb can you be, you loose money, and have to pay for it
I’m in Vegas. lol.
Great video! One thing thoug, I love Maroon 5 😭
Just got back from a Vegas / Arizona trip. No gambling in Vegas and last thing we did was in fact In & Out and it was phenomenal.
I'm watching your video, knowing I'll be in vegas next month with money I shouldn't be using. I have 2 jobs. 😅. 😅... 😅...
Cancel the trip.
The George thumbnail that gets me laughing 😂
That scared me...

That's not true. A lot of people who actually live in Vegas make a living out of gambling. They don't make a lot but it is a full time thing for them.
