"i'm in the middle" so cute. their chemistry is so natural and intense. they portray their friendship and love so easily that you feel like you're intruding on a real couple.
I know right? Everytime I see cute moments I feel like if I was the third wheel ahahahah. But I love to be the third wheel with these two :)
This is one reason why I love the X-files so much and its the relationship between Mulder and Scully. They do have many common denominators but also many discrepancies. Despite differences they make it work and it feel very authentic and natural. They respect each other. I hope I can find something like this in the future.

This is such a special scene. Not just for the X-Files, But generally. There's just so much there - the actor's amazing chemistry, the excellently scripted banter... It's clever, emotional, funny, meaningful and sexy as hell... In my heart, this is the true final scene of the whole show.

This was a very special moment in the series. I can't imagine anyone who saw this scene while watching the show wasn't smiling ear to ear. This was also a pretty good monster of the week episode.

I suppose we have David Duchovny to thank for giving us one of the hottest and most adorable Scully and Mulder scenes ever. Seeing them be playful like this warms my heart. You can tell how in love they are here.

I was so against them getting together...until I saw this scene. Then I became a full on shipper. Great scene.
This scene is riddled with innuendos: "Not a bad piece of ash... talking about the bat... now don't strangle it, you just want to shake hands with it... it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance... the pleasure is all mine" It's very well written, it says all the things we want to hear without actually saying them. One of my favourite scenes ❤

I lived for this part in the 90s, and it still gives me goosebumps now! A lesson for all movie and tv show makers - you don’t need nudity or a sex scene to make droves of obsessed fans swoon, melt and feel their hearts leap for the love that emanates from the screen
sorry for my English, I use the translator. I mean, it's probably the only one in the world series that can show real love without sex scenes and with minimal number of kisses. The whole team is so talented that she could show us their real feelings without sexually sexually impaired scenes.
I wished we had Al list one sex passionate scene and a few kisses between them we deereved so the actores and the characters
It's special, because it's the last one where they are laughing and relaxed and suggestive. After this, they all get very heavy and tragic.
Seriously. The last couple of seasons (and the reboot seasons) they made Scully into a one-note, shrewish character with only one character trait: constantly screaming for William.

One of my favorite scenes also - I love how he places his hand on her hip; Chris Carter really knew how to make the fans go crazy with scenes like this - "Hips before hands and "we're not going to think, we're just going to let it fly." Oh boy!!

I can't get enough of these two. They're the best and most adorable (unofficially) married couple ever. Their chemistry and love for each other is simply amazing. Even most officially married couples don't have this kind of chemistry, respect, trust and love as Mulder & Scully have for each other. The X-Files should've ended with Mulder & Scully finally getting married.

This scene just makes me so happy every time I watch it. Goofy, light-hearted episodes of the X-Files were always fun, but this one is far above all the others in being my favorite. I also LOVE baseball, so that definitely helps.

I honestly didn’t remember this episode from my original watch back in the 90s. But Oh wow! Perfect M/S scene. The banter is on point, the sexual tension phenomenal. And just shows that when the writing’s given over to people who know these characters, the crock about platonic relationships is dutifully ignored. Thanks DD. The scene with the ice cream at the beginning of this ep is also fabulous! I wish the revival had focused more on these types of episodes and not the darkness it turned to. Moulder and Scully forever.
Truth is, this episode, combined with Josh's death and the song near the end, got me in the feels...

D.D. Definitely did a Great job writing and directing this episode. Duchovny said the scene looked a lot better when he boarded it, he said this scene came out Horrible. He said it looks like they're fighting over a bat. GA said it looks like she's holding on for dear life Ha Ha Ha. I remember this scene featured @ the Comic Con live interview. I watched this show in middle school back in the 90s so I’m doing a proper rewatch now and I just want to say that there’s no way they arnt at least in some way a couple at this point. The previous episode Scullys feelings were ousted and now here they are so flirty and handsy and that is not how they typically are u less something dramatic is going down.

It was a very poignant scene because it was the last of the humorous the happy. It got very dark and tense and sad after that. For the last time we saw Scully and Mulder happy and laughing.

DD delivered the goods, knew what the show was, and what it's entire chemistry turned on, CC, while being a genius, missed intentionally the gold that all the viewers had banked on, still hasn't made it right, doubt it ever will be. ....Think of this scene as the end of it, and they ride off into the sunset, can't get better than that...or, perhaps a final meeting on the diamond after another 6 episodes, they meet there again and take us down memory lane and add a final long smooch, can't get better than that.
