I truly believe Matt Elliott is the most gifted artist of this century. The emotional impact of your music is akin, to me, to Bach's Mass in B Minor and St. John's Passion. Utterly unparalleled.
I own almost every piece of your music. You’re one of the few artists I support instead of just downloading it online. I love the third eye foundation’s contrast to your solo work depending on my mood swings, I can really hear the subtle soundscapes that get lost in digitized music. Plus owing the physical copy of albums and the amazing artwork just feels right. The composition and your voice are masterful. Please keep it up for all of us little lost souls in need of medicinal musick.
It’s 3:45 am, I’m in stuck in self imposed quarantine. Alone, listening to Anhedonia and The Kursk. Hope You and everyone stay safe from COVID-19. What is everyone else listening to??
Man there is something in your music, iam always touched... especially with The sinking ship, composition named eric, and of course your new masterpiece The day after that
hey matt. been listening for the past 3 years. your music is incredible. i remember all the nights I'd sit awake in the dark listening to "prepare for disappointment" and "if anyone ever tells me..." it's so profound to me, and I'm fortunate to exist in a timeline in which i have the ability to listen to your work
For me, it is the sincerity and the brutal way you show your feelings and ideas. The melodies are always so understanding and tender, provoking warmth in the most honest and constant way I've found in sound. I can picture myself in your musique so easily that it created an intimacy so unique, that can be only described as not feeling alone in this harsh and unjust world. Thanks for all, Matt, I've enjoyed your work since my teens and will continue even when I don't feel alone anymore. Love from the Northern Amazonian Brazil, and may the struggles be rare for all.
Matt,i m a really big fan of your work,i listened to your songs for 4 year s already and all of them helped me through certain periods of my life s You re a real inspiration, thank you so much for all your work!❤
Thank you for being exactly who you are & doing exactly what you do in this life Matt.. Your music, words & even personal messages sent to me have helped get me through so many trials & tribulations of life... I can’t wait to buy the new album on the 27th & please take care of yourself dear friend. MARTIN from TUCSON.
Greetings from São Paulo, Brazil. Thanks for your music and discography, especially Drinking Songs, my soundtrack during many months in recent past (bad moments), that was very important to me. Keep healthy during this quarantine.
this is the story of a melody. The guitarist didn't know where or when his fingers created it. Only the sky can understand the beauty. With the calm passing by of the clouds he stays.
Respect from Greece. Ionly discovered your music the last couple of weeks 'n' I'm overwelmed. Then I read you 're from Bristol, 'n' as it happens I lived there from 1981 until 1986.Istudied in Filton Tech 'n' in Bristol Poly 'n' it occupies a special place in my heart.I guess now I have one more reason for that.Lately I decided to endeavour in a humble attempt to do my own music, which I upload on youtube.Although I'm nowhere near an accomplished musician as you, it's nice to fantacise that someday we could do stuff together. Meanwhile stay well 'n' creative. That's the best medicine.
Beatiful song as usual! I've been waiting for you in Bologna but you couldn't come because of the virus. I hope to see you in Italy as soon as possible!
Just got my vinyls for Drinking Songs and Farewell To All We Know (ltd ed.), and just now found this. If you read this, Matt, do you have any other (decent quality) recordings of songs you've covered? There's some videos and recordings out there of live performances but those come with people coughing and other distractions. Thank you so much for your music and everything it's done for me, you're the only artist I never grow tired of and I always get excited when I find more.

Only One minute was enough to make me fall in love
this is the story of a melody.
