I'm glad Hughie and starlight stayed together this season and didn't break up like most other couples in TV shows I hope there relationship stays strong in the third season.

j m I mean they are the main characters and in the comics they did break up but got back together and live happily ever after
In the comics series they do stay together. There is a moment where a video leaks of her Blowing off The Deep as blackmail which causes them to break up but they do end up back together at the end of it all. They’re “clinged” together and are one of the best Comic Book Couples out there.
Thier characters are meant for eachother, more so because there is no one else who can really understand them in the same ways or understand what motivates them.
Take Arrow. Oliver and Felicity‘s relationship is the most infuriating on and off you‘ll ever see.
Hughie and Annie are some of the rarest fictional characters whom the audience loves both as individual characters and as a couple

Friends is a huge show and Ross an Rachel are considered the biggest tv couple. So naturally there are some haters. But i would bet 90% of friends fans like Ross and Rachel as a couple and as individuals

Oh I'm sure there will be a storyline that builds the relationship between Butcher and Ryan next season. I think Ryan will be the one to help Butcher get rid of his prejudice against supes, which Starlight kinda already set him on that path

Hughie is so relatable for me. Everything he does is relatable. Like when Annie throws the wrapper into the can and makes it. And then Hughie fails. That’s me. The billy Joel. That’s me too.. and so many other examples.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but if she tried to hug Hughie in the conventional way of wrapping her arms around him, it could be dangerous as because she's so emotional she may squeeze too hard and hurt him, or even kill him. Starlight knows this, so instead she adopts a much more vulnerable position in order to protect Hughie from herself.
Even while emotionally broken, she still cares for Hughie and protects people; a true heroine

I seriously hope they don't break up Hughie and Starlight. I'm sick to my back teeth with TV shows trying to 'subvert expectations' by having couples have a split and hate each other. Just give us a love story one fucking time.
I feel the same way. I think Hughie and Annie’s relationship is the heart of the show. It’s just a beautiful and wholesome relationship that I think will ultimately be paid off at the end of the show. It would just be wrong and wouldn’t make sense if they don’t survive by the end. Think of the final ending of the show being Hughie and Annie married with a family away from the spotlight and finally at peace after all the terrible things that have happened to them. That’s my ideal ending, and I hope the show ends like that in some way. The struggles will continue throughout seasons 3-5, but the more they suffer the more we sympathize with them and want their relationship to succeed and be safe.
In season 3 there is gonna be tension, is probable that drummer boy appears in like 5 episodes and will be like a love triangle

That small moment with their legs touching on the train is so sweet and shows how intimate the slightest physical touch can be between two people that care about each other. Likewise, you feel Hughie's dismay when Annie gets annoyed and breaks the contact by crossing her legs away from him.

Why is the color correction so desaturated and blue. Looking like battlefield 3 when it's supposed to look bright and colorful when my favourite couples are on screen
It’s has this color filter cause is cheaper to do VFX in them. Noticed how in Endgame once Thanos arrives the explosion happens and the color correction changes to a more desaturated and blue tone also.
