I am so glad to see people finally calling him out. I have seen a couple other videos lately on how annoying or bad Steve O is. I have always thought something was off about him. He made sobriety is identity and always self inserted himself into things. Learning he was born rich sort of makes it make sense. And I am glad you picked up on him not saying "thank you" to the lady who was serving him a drink. The lack of that small gesture says a whole lot about him, how he views himself against other people, and his spoiled character.
He’s tried to make veganism his identity at one point, but gave up and started dissing that lifestyle…hopefully he does the same with drugs

His sister was given the estate, and is going to get most of the family inheritance because Steve went wild while he was on TV and lost his mind.
After their mother passed His father and sister had to come up with a plan for Steve before he snorted the whole thing up.
He has to make the majority of his money now, and the reason he pushes the sober life is to show his family he's finally changed and can now be re-trusted with his name on the estate before his Dad passed.
If he gets it, he'll hopefully go away.
If he doesn't, he'll hopefully go back to drugs.

I think Steve-O IS high. The last year, he's barely keeping his eyes open and slurring more than normal. When someone who's personality is entrenched in the whole 12 step thing, and they relapse, they keep up the sober talking points like it's auto-pilot.
Well he does like the anesthesia challenge. So he still likes to get high.
Yes! I have sensed that. In the last year specifically, around the time that he shaved his head something has seemed “off”….wondering if he’s doing legal nootropics, some of those get you really high.

I’ve been sober about 1 1/2 years and have zero problem if people drink around me. I was a alcoholic by every definition and quit cold Turkey
I did the same with cigs, morphine and alcohol. Its weird how they try to glorify it.

@@Mannydamon it wasn’t easy. Many failed attempts over the years. Though I eventually got there. I haven’t looked back and I don’t miss it. I’m far more productive, healthy and creative now.

Steve O was cool in high school. I think huffing those canisters messed him up permanently. He’s different now. One of those guys that should’ve retired the hero instead of hanging out til the bitter end. Now we’re sick of him and he’s still hanging around purely for the ad revenue.
If it were just about getting sober and making money, he could've done so many other things to stay sober, make money in the background, and stayed the hero all at the same time. But like you said, he refused to retire his public persona and now everybody is sick of him and he will go down the same way he started; as a clown.

I tried to give Steve-Os content a chance, since I grew up to watching Jackass. It’s just unbearable. The selfishness alone when he is interviewing others (basically interviewing himself with someone else sitting there) is enough for me to be done with him.
