28 and finally listening to this lol. I got out of deathcore right as the crewbanger album came out. I missed all of this but I made my way back and this album is beyond fire.
My band covered this song in a small bar venue recently in southeastern VA. I can say with no ego or doubt that it was the most intense pit/movement that venue has ever seen, a fight literally broke out 2 minutes in, resulting in multiple injuries. We were playing with a hardcore band and 3 pop punk bands,they told us they were mindblown. The last band didnt get to play, the Venue kicked everyone out after the fight and stopped doing shows. NO bullshit. I was fucked up, greatest time of my life.
This intro was, and STILL is, LEGENDARY. I'm 33 now and still love this album. I personally really like their newer stuff too it's just as heavy as their original works. Just overall always been a great band, that has aged perfectly. This takes me back to HS. PSA: If you haven't talked to your best friend from that time period because you've both grown up and always have too much life shit going on to kick it anymore, hit him up and say what's up. We all got that one or 2 friends that although may not speak or see eachother as much, they will ALWAYS be your boy no matter WHAT or ANY amount of time that goes by. @Hi not going to lie he isn't wrong I picked up on screaming quite quickly, screaming is actually screaming/yelling it'd just a vocal technique I even went to a vocal coach because i thought i was doing it wrong and I thought I could tear my vocal chords but he was quite surprised with how I got it down on my own like I do with most instruments, but I agree for some it isn't as easy
I still think this is one of the best deathcore songs ever written. Desolation Of Eden is such a deathcore masterpiece. 👿👿 Still come back to this all these years later.

Alex's Stage presence is fucking amazing, this only emphasizes it haha! Finally saw them live during the Sick tour in Atlanta, nonetheless it was his birthday too. That show was fucking phenomenal. Just can't get enough of this badass intro either
