System is very in-effective. Drain tile must be dug to the footer where the water actually is, with this system the entire floor literally will be soaking in water before it reaches their "drain system", which in most cases isnt pitched at all toward the sump basins so water just sits there. All these "basement" companies trying to sell a bs product like this because they can hire joe schmo down the street to do it for cheap because theirs a lot less work involved then what it takes to actually waterproof a basement, yet they will charge you an arm and a leg. Find a reputable company that knows what they are doing people and please stay away from products that sit on top of the footer of your foundation because they do not work.
Sorta sucks they knock the original process of the footing drain by not mentioning the most critical product that keeps pipe from building up with silt. U always need to wrap the pipe in no woven geotectile fabric plus clean rock on bottom and on top all the way up wall till like 3” to 5 “ from surface. Add all that and the system has the proper pitch to pit and u never plug with silt. This all isn’t even mentioned the most important and very critical part of never have a system inside the house & foundation without ur main system off rock pipe nonwooven geotextile fabric topped off rock and proper pitch to sump pit or to daylight if ur tht lucky to have a low enough spot in yard to gravity move to daylight. These crooks that are sale pitching bulshit idea never mentions this is all a flawed system and should be illegal by every city with codes and permits.
Stay away from this type of waterproofing system that sits on top of the footer. It will not work! Do your homework. Use a waterproofing company that installs a drain system that sits next to the footer , not on top the footer. Also remember that in order for water to flow effectively you need slope/pitch. So systems like this one in the video will require the company to chip away your footer in order to make this happen! Do you want your footer compromised? Also all the corner pieces in this system are open pieces, meaning they are not closed so water transferring from one wall to the next to get to the sump pump will not happen. Again the first comment on this video is correct. Stay away from the scam! You will waste money if you get this system or any that sells a box system that sits on top of the footer!
If the waterproofing was done correctly on the outside (whether when constructed new or done after the fact) then even if the drain tile was clogged no water would get into the basement and have to be fixed by this band-aid.
Well, hydraulic pressure would still push water through the cold joint between the floor and foundation wall, but yes, water couldn't come through a properly waterproofed exterior wall.
Hi! I had waterproof recently and with the first rain the all wall got wet and with the second storm was very bad what is the problem with that. Thank you .
With all the technology out here for guns, cars, computers etc etc. You would think there is a way to make existing basements and new construction homes there is a way to make basements 100% water proof.

The water will be absorbed into the wall before reaching the water guard, in his drawing (4:08). Do this and you will regret westing your money.

build a well, water will wind its way with the help of good old gravity. the wells are good old methods to keep foundations dry.
Very permanent if you backfill with gravel instead of soil.

What about water and salts detroying the wall overtime
How you charge for job or linear feet
Junk, the water is at the footings.
Just get a second mortgage and give us $100,000.
Maximum waterproofing=maximum profit$$$
We getting it wish video would show the water restoration walls and the two colors with chair moulding
DO NOT use this system
That system does NOT work. Do not hire them.
This waterproofing system is a VERY bad idea!!
