Thanks for the great tutorials! Question: I'm using TouchOSC on my iPad with Max Msp and I'm trying to control certain parameters in Max using the iPad accelerometer. Do you have tips/resources/suggestions on how to make that work? I'm trying to get my iPad to send the OSC messages to my laptop (I'm using both mobile and desktop apps) but I'm struggling. Thanks!
Is there any guide how to make it work on the same computer ? (Just wanted to make my second monitor with only infos I need from 3 different programs - just to display) cheers
Possibly on the Hexler website. A lot of the functions are the same as with a mobile device. You just have to set up the connections from the desktop version.
HI. I would like to ask something in particular: do you think it would be possible to create a sort of hypertext with touchosc? a sort of quiz where questions are updated overlays and based on the answer you give you send a midi signal?
I think you'd have to create a pretty complex script to understand that "if label = x, then send Y", but in theory this seems possible. What would be the reason for creating something to understand text boxes as opposed to sending MIDI messages via different buttons?
@@TimCorpus Thanks for the reply but perhaps I'll abandon the idea because it seems too complex at the moment. I would ask you something else perhaps. Would it be possible to send automations or note loops? as if it were a sort of cyclical midi clip that I can send with touch. Thanks again
Hi Tim, Kev here, mate you are just going far too fast, there’s no way even on my 65 inch tv, you can see where the eye dropper tool is to be found. Sorry.
