You guys are jewels. It would be great if pinstripe would allow you to welcome into your yard another guinea for a friend. She probably wouldn't tolerate it though, lol!
guineas imprint on places rather than people. pinstripe stays because that area is all she's known, nearly since hatching. you can never buy adult guinea fowl because they've already imprinted and will return to their original home, no matter the personal cost to them might be.
That is how we ensure Guinea Fowl to stick around. We keep them caged for a few months, then let them out. They'll come back to roost every night. Of course making them stay close to home is a whole different story.
Yes but, just like chickens, ducks, e.t.c., guineas are gamefowl, and just like any other fowl, when guineas are born, they will follow whoever they think is their parent/guardian. The same thing occurs in the wild, but it’s actually very rare to domesticate a guinea to be like this, to follow you and all that stuff, unless you give it a lot of attention, and I mean A LOT. My guinea, Lucky, was just like that. He would fly up to my shoulder, sit with me, cuddle with me, follow me everywhere in any location, because I handraised him and gave him attention 24/7. And trust me, it wasn’t easy.

Pinstripe is a Reichenow's guineafowl because of her long crest. :)
