My dad never told me not to flush my tampons… I was raised by a man & have brothers. All I noticed on the box was don’t flush the applicator.. it cost me $600 to get the pipes flushed because I was flushing tampons for like 20 years! 😂 They should be teaching this shit in school!!

Our first home was built in the 1970’s and only had one previous owner- a family of three with one daughter. After our first two months in the home the pipes completely clogged and started overflowing into our laundry room. We had to get an emergency plumber and he found hundreds of tampons in the pipes and had to use a massive drill to get them all out. It was horrifying. My husband thought it was from me.. from two periods. Men.

Also, every time I’ve ever gotten my eyebrows threaded they have put the thread in their mouth. The last time I went a customer was literally complaining of a hipaa violation but it was because the threader wasn’t wearing any shoes.
And this place is in fact in a mall😂
Yeah the threading bit was pretty culturally insensitive. The hair obviously does not go into the mouth when holding on end of the thread. There are also multiple methods of threading, God this is why I can't watch white women thank you so much for the implications in your comment it's so hilarious those nasty savages don't know to wear shoes in a mall do they so funny--got the whole squad laughing with that one
Omg! I’m a sweaty human as well! It’s beyond embarrassing and I’ve been trying to find out how to deal with it but hearing Hannah talk about it makes me feel so much better and I’m able to laugh about it a bit.

I was like you Paige. My entire life I flushed my tampons because no one told me otherwise and yes I saw the signs in public restrooms and thought they had bad plumbing too or were just being over cautious. But I moved to a condo in Florida a year and a half ago and completely stopped up my pipes where my shower was backing up and started flooding my bathroom so now I have to wrap and put in trashcan which is gross and a waste of toilet paper.

My mom taught me to flush them! She told me I could even flush cardboard applicators 😬 When my husband found out this information he freeeeaked out! We had just built a new house and he threatened my life if I continued this practice 🤣
