Looking for advice which one to book for 2 couples in their 40’s who don’t want to break the bank but want a beautiful beach, lush tropical vibe, quiet not a party resort but fun with entertainment, great rooms (newer resort, less rundown would be preferred), great pools that are open late & a+ service!
Last year we stayed, for the third time, at the Iberostar Grand Bavaro ; in general it was very nice but the quality of the food in the fine dining restaurants was poor. There has definitely been a drop in quality. This year we’re doing Excellence El Carmen

Excellence el Carmen or excellence punta cana. I’ve been to both. The food in el Carmen is awesome, I recommend the Indian restaurant and the Grill😍.

We went to el Carmen in December and we loved it. It’s quiet and chill, but that’s what we were looking for. We just wanted to relax.
Going to Royalton CHIC Dec 7 to Dec 13. Can't wait.

Not Chic. Ocean is not swimmable.
It will be resorts in the Bavaro/Cap Cana region, Ulvero Alto resorts have choppy water
