    which means, the 1st 2 forms, it's for verbs, just change when before we have a consonant or a vowel, but is like the same thing? And the last one, it's for nouns. Nice I think I get it now. thanks.

    Is it okay to use this with (으)세요 endings.. like exchange between the two? I have a Korean Grandfather and am trying to make the best impression.
    And 안녕하세요would be the most formal way to say hello to him right?

      That ending is used when you are referring to someone else that is older than you or of higher social status.
      And yes, that is a good way to greet your grandfather. The deferential style is an extremely formal way of talking and you use it when making presentations, addressing your teacher or military officers and making reports. You also use it when addressing your boss.
