I just watched this on Pluto tv the other day, and I was wondering what they did with that nudity in the edited for tv version. I believe the only other time I'd seen AIRPLANE II was years ago on CBS.
We need Shout! Factory to release an HD release of the TV Cut of *"AIRPLANE II: The Sequel",* just like what they did with the 3-hour-long Extended TV Cut of *"KING KONG '76".*
Have a slightly different version on VHS, recorded in early 1989, late night on WXIX 19, Cincinnati - probably 2AM; clearly remember trying to figure out how to "program" the VCR to record it. It contains a mixture of the two - doesn't contain the people on the belt, but does contain "Senile", "Premature Ejection" and a few others. I'm guessing movies when they were licensed for independent channel showings, the tapes sent out were like albums - every now and then, there'd be particular pressings containing one or two songs in different mixes than all the others. Workplace f-ups; happens at every job.
@@watercooler only the repeated troupes of the first movie, which is iconic. Only thing fresh & funny was Shatner, his acting alone would’ve opened the door to do more spoof movies.
Yeah, Airplane 2 is so bad that it might as well have the names Friedberg and Seltzer on it. It makes Fatal Instinct look like High Anxiety by comparison.
Airplane ii the sequel in the dvd needs to be in the deleted scenes.
Some of these scenes deserved to be on the cutting room floor but the President split screen and the discovery of the fake Ted in the bed are funny
Always love these kind of videos. Great stuff Chuck
First saw a good most of the TV version on Comedy Central back in 2002.
One of the deleted cast was Earl Boen as that doctor. Not listed.
Looks like Airplane 2 must comeback in the Extended Made For TV Version with the Original Theatrical Version combine.
I wonder how many too naughty for TV moments remain deleted.

And extended cuts of Earthquake and The Hindenburg.
The inappropriate, irreverent humor with lots of puns that are both simple and intelligent!

Tons of deleted scenes. Almost a different movie.
And a little better because it explains stuff.
Yeah. Funny to see the guy who cuts himself shaving getting knocked out in an earlier scene haha.
1:11 Wish! Did somebody say “wish”?
Tv version showed most of these I’m sure
Yeah, that’s why the title of the video says The TV Version.
Hey Chuck!
Hello

Tv Versions and Airplanes suck
Thoughtful comment. Really adds to the discussion.
Too bad Airplane 2 couldn’t be deleted from the face of the earth, considering it’s a shitty sequel cash-grab.
Aww, come on, there's some great stuff in Airplane II.
