Appreciate this video keyboard amps are way different from guitar amps so this was a big help and pointed me to amps I am not familiar with. I played in the 60's with a two cabinets one with four 10 inch speakers and another with a 15 inch and two 12 inch speakers don't remember the head power rating. I also had a 40 watt leslie (the PA was a custom and technology was not good enough my leslie distorted when pushed and a mic feed to the PA didn't help much. Getting back into playing for fun at 81. Would like to know if you have any recordings and if you play in the Atlanta area. Thanks
Hey Robert, thanks for the video of the new Motion Sound. Curious to hear of your update. Are you enjoying working with the KP1000-10? I see that it’s pretty heavy. Left hand bass is probably great on it. I do mostly intimate spaces, restaurants, hotels, etc. Would this be too much for those venues? Should I really be looking at KP1000-8s? Currently I have the KP408s, looking to upgrade. Thanks for any advise. Subscribed and enjoy your other performance videos.
Thanks for making this - very interested in a motion sound combo amp for my synths. The v-shaped baffle seems neat for emphasizing spread (and I love the vintage WEM nods). Does it prevent speaker beaming? And do you find it doesn’t deliver lows as well because of that?
