- Getting the 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse off jack-stands once again! Unfortunately, i was not able to prep the bumper for paint since the harboer freight grinder didnt work but stay tuned for the following videos!

Instead of that bracket (cheaper solution) for the brembos you could get the JDM Galant knuckles from STM if available for a cleaner setup. They work with the 2g GSX and Tsi and still run the evo 7-9 brembos
That’s the best option for the swap. The bracket only costs a fraction of the price though.

Thanks for advice!!! I know many people wanted to get their own dream cars and like they don’t have patients. For me, I have patients and work on my own way and start saving my money to buy DSM or other cars. Also, I don’t like comparing others, I rather be focusing myself and things I want to do I’m the future. I’m kind of debating of getting a DSM or a 2020 Toyota Supra. But as you said, “ Don’t be too hard on yourself, just keep working on becoming better.” I’m glad to see DSM back on the blog. Still fresh and clean🔥👌
Good points on that comment you addressed man. I started watching your content years ago and if you go back pay attention you can see that you've made hard choices to get where you are. Case and point, the Porsche. Probably was hard getting rid of it, but served a purpose which is part of how you've gotten here. Don't worry, some of us know. 😉

Awesome video as always, that car is such a cool example of an Eclipse, also that is a great message about social media, it feels like we are all living in an artificial world filled with unobtainable stuff that people are flexing with like it's nothing. Keep up the real stuff man!!!
the struggle is real and I see it and understand it. i have 3 vehicles myself and worked hard to get them. i understand the misconception of what is being brought out and sometimes you just have to shake your head because so much is not know or told on how long the process to took or what hell that person went thru to get it. Sometimes those struggles are lot harder then one thinks as well as presented. Its difficult but worth having if you do things the right and take stock of the situation and your health as well as your finances to be sure you can handle the heavy load. I say this as a humble man but also from seeing it first hand from some people i know who are going thru it. keep up the good work and remember everyday is a struggle and reward. its all about how you move thru it. Let me chime in on what you said. I have always had pretty sick cars but you are 100% right. I work long crazy hours, I budget whatever money I have left after bills and yes I've stressed several times when I over spend and end up late on a bill because I impulsively over spent on parts, I don't talk about the year my car spent in body and paint, the long hunt or rare nearly impossible parts to find. It's stressful, exhausting but rewarding in the end. I always say time, money, and patience... keep working, save your left over cash and let it accumulate and you can have nice things... As far as that cut on your face, those 2G bite back, I remember being under one practically doing pull ups with a breaker bar to break a flywheel bolt free and the wrench slipped and busted me in the nose... Blood,sweat it part of the game..

I really enjoy your videos because you always show ur bad days. The whole time the og eclipse kept breaking down on you. All the times the vr4 kept having fuel issues. All the times that white dsm kept blowing an engine when you turbo'd it. But you cant forget all the parts, money, and time you spent wasting trying to fix them and you were able to achieve them through hard work. Thats whats dope about it. Also I think people watch these short 15 minute vids and expect the same thing to happen. Its kind of a false impression our mind builds on how fast it'll be to fix a problem which it really isnt. Another thing too is these crazy builds with all these high horsepowers cars. I think people feel they have to have a fast car. I rep the 420a eclipse which at first I felt stupid for buying it thinking its a piece of crap. But after 13,000 miles on this junkyard pulled engine (engine was actually pulled twice as it already had junkyard writing all over the engine when i pulled it out 😂) this engine has been nothing but good to me. And I will treasure stock as I always have. Sorry for rambling. But I guess all im tryna say is just enjoy what you have and work with it. Keep up the vids miguel.

@@MiguelDsm I am currently rebuilding a motor but for right now I'm just putting another stock motor in just so I'm able to drive it. the original motor had bad rod knock we are thinking due to a bad oil pump.
