Fun fact During All Star 5 all guest on pitstop were winners. Most of them would later be part of the All Winner Cast: Jynkx, Trinity, Vivienne, Monet, Jaida, Raja. Other guest were Violet and Alaska. Violet ended up hosting Fashion Photo Review for All Star 7, so that makes Alaska only guest not related to All Star 7 in any form. Even host of All Star 5 Pitstop-Bob the Drag Queen, ended up being host for All Star 7 Pitstop.
I think both have moved on but I think one reason is the story they have to create on why she was blocked in an entertaining way for the show that doesn't make ru seem rude or bad. And it's really difficult to spin it so both are happy.
I think it's much more an issue of Courtney simply not wanting to be back on. She doesn't need it. A poor All Stars run can taint your original run (Milk, Latrice Royale, Jan, Ongina, and many others actually seemed worse off). People are taking this "blocked on twitter" thing too seriously.
She doesn't, but the fact that she's not hosting Drag Race Australia is crazy. She's fine, but it's a loss for the franchise. The best international Drag Race shows are the ones with hosts from the same country - because those hosts get the culture and humor.

Personally, I think Alaska is one of the top talents to come out of drag race. What sets her apart is that she’s an all-rounder talent. While Bianca and Jinx are refined specialists, Alaska is a very skilled generalist.

It’s not hate, it’s just not a popular opinion to say that Alaska didn’t perform all that well on AS2. It felt heavily favored and produced to make it appear as though she was doing better than she was. Watching it live, I noticed how dismayed my friends were when she kicked off Alyssa and again after she threw a tantrum after losing the makeover. It was the first season you watched, that’s not the same for the rest of us. Most of us were used to the general format of the show and how the editing works. So that’s how we know. Furthermore YOU think she did up and away better than the other queens. I do not. In my opinion Detox was regularly better than her in acting/comedy challenges, while Roxy and Katya were regularly better than her in performance challenges. I think her looks were generally fine but nothing exceptional whilst Detox had exceptional runways. So on and so forth. Non of that is to say that she did horrible or even bad. But that there were times where her wins or top placements seemed to be because of the Judges bias, not yours, over other queens.

You can't complain about guilt by association in this case when half the stuff that Willam says is pure fiction or exaggeration, all with the intent to smear the show's reputation that they claim to love. Willam is lying specifically to make RuPaul and the show look bad, Alaska knows this but keeps doing a podcast with her. Alaska is (or at least used to be) good friends with Michelle, right? If my friend had a podcast together with a person that would go out of their way to say horrible things about me to millions of listeners every episode I don't know if I'd still want to be friends with that person. No need to wonder why about the HBO. David Zavlov, that took over with the Discovery merger has zero interest in anything that isn't straight, white and male. Also, he values reality TV and doesn't value basically everything HBO stood for with its critically acclaimed quality scripted content. The culling that happened with that change of executive actions told me the content I am interested in is no longer welcome and the man himself said enough crap, too. I don't know if he's as vile as the Paramount (or is it CBS). Paramount aren't allies, regardless of the programming. I don't know if I could handle the Paramount (or CBS) tea, if it were to spill. Maybe we're here was cancelled because it's depression porn. It was a great show I got a lot out of it and it is so important to know what is happening in experiences that aren't yours but it was hard to watch especially the latest season.
I just dont think dita makes her presence known enough. She is never booked at Roscoe's , detox claims she is super busy but she shows up often( last min sometimes) even in the audience maybe Dita has her own viewing party she hosts put it on youtube make a series . Any time I do see her pop up on something I find her clothing and style hasn't elevated since her season.The producers want a redemption, or a glow up for ratings but she hasn't seem to grow.
She has been a guest at Roscoe's and has said some negative things about queens like Manila and badmouthed Sahara R.I.P. I feel bad for her, but she is not doing herself any favors.
There's an early IMHO video where Darby was interviewing Dida about her time on the show and Dida revealed that Ru wears tracksuit bottoms sitting behind the desk. This was a couple of years before Utica asked Ru to stand up and got the finger. I suspect this got back to Ru and she wasn't best pleased.
I don't think it is smart for queens to be too associated with World of Wonder once they have been on the show, especially if they did well or won. They should be expanding their brand so that it isn't necessary for them to return to the Drag Race fold to be considered successful.

I think We're Here was cancelled because those were the wrong replacements. Shangela, BoB, and Eureka were really the perfect fit and had the personalities to do the work and did it excellently. People knew when they announced that Jaida, Sasha, and Pryanka were the replacements that it wasnt correct and everyone was screaming "Where's Latrice?" They then rapidly got her (probably paid a nice penny) and she came in for the last couple episodes but it was too late. Not to mention the format change of only going to 2 towns. But Jaida was not ready for that kind of work, she didnt seem mature enough to have alot of the conversations. And Sasha is way too quiet of a person to galvanize those kind of people. The participants are already apprehensive and very timid...you need big personalities to get them going and to root them on and she was so quiet. I thought Latrice, Kylie, and Peppermint would have been perfect. Or instead of Kylie, maybe Kameron. I will really miss the show. We need it now more than when it started.

You can't complain about guilt by association in this case when half the stuff that Willam says is pure fiction or exaggeration, all with the intent to smear the show's reputation that they claim to love. Willam is lying specifically to make RuPaul and the show look bad, Alaska knows this but keeps doing a podcast with her.
Alaska is (or at least used to be) good friends with Michelle, right? If my friend had a podcast together with a person that would go out of their way to say horrible things about me to millions of listeners every episode I don't know if I'd still want to be friends with that person.
Alaska doesn't seem to have any feelings of solidarity towards Michelle, Ru or anyone involved with the show. And for all we know maybe RuPaul and the producers are just as toxic as some people say they are. But then why would she want to go back in the first place?

Maybe we're here was cancelled because it's depression porn. It was a great show I got a lot out of it and it is so important to know what is happening in experiences that aren't yours but it was hard to watch especially the latest season.

I just dont think dita makes her presence known enough. She is never booked at Roscoe's , detox claims she is super busy but she shows up often( last min sometimes) even in the audience maybe Dita has her own viewing party she hosts put it on youtube make a series . Any time I do see her pop up on something I find her clothing and style hasn't elevated since her season.The producers want a redemption, or a glow up for ratings but she hasn't seem to grow.
She has been a guest at Roscoe's and has said some negative things about queens like Manila and badmouthed Sahara R.I.P. I feel bad for her, but she is not doing herself any favors.
There's an early IMHO video where Darby was interviewing Dida about her time on the show and Dida revealed that Ru wears tracksuit bottoms sitting behind the desk. This was a couple of years before Utica asked Ru to stand up and got the finger. I suspect this got back to Ru and she wasn't best pleased.
I could see that,but also Ru said that himself on the show in bed with Joan I believe back in 2013/14.

I don't think it is smart for queens to be too associated with World of Wonder once they have been on the show, especially if they did well or won. They should be expanding their brand so that it isn't necessary for them to return to the Drag Race fold to be considered successful.

I dont think Dida is blacklisted. When I see her on instagram or at Roscoes… she doesnt look any different from her season of drag race. She doesnt look elevated makeup wise or outfit wise. I never even knew how she got as far as she did on season 4. No offense to her of course. I just dont see it and never did. Same with Jayden Dior. I don’t see what she would have to bring that is any different. I would rather see Jeremy or gia or max or… stacey lane mathews! Like comes on now.
Heck Mystique Summers Madison deserves a showing. Her mug is sublime and I have no idea what her skin care routine is but she is always glowing and is still super funny. Seen her do some collabs with Nina on her raw views and they're always a fun bunch.

I think We're Here was cancelled because those were the wrong replacements. Shangela, BoB, and Eureka were really the perfect fit and had the personalities to do the work and did it excellently. People knew when they announced that Jaida, Sasha, and Pryanka were the replacements that it wasnt correct and everyone was screaming "Where's Latrice?" They then rapidly got her (probably paid a nice penny) and she came in for the last couple episodes but it was too late. Not to mention the format change of only going to 2 towns. But Jaida was not ready for that kind of work, she didnt seem mature enough to have alot of the conversations. And Sasha is way too quiet of a person to galvanize those kind of people. The participants are already apprehensive and very timid...you need big personalities to get them going and to root them on and she was so quiet. I thought Latrice, Kylie, and Peppermint would have been perfect. Or instead of Kylie, maybe Kameron. I will really miss the show. We need it now more than when it started.
