This is so good. I saw part #1 but missed the opening scroll. Did you do that and the star destroyer commandeering? I think that was the opening scene in DOTF script but can't remember?
Very good video, and I loved the voice made for Tor Valum - sort of like a combination of Snoke and Sauron 😎😉👏 and maybe Snoke should have been revealed as the humanoid avatar of Tor Valum rather than as a literal puppet of Darth Sidious! 🤔
Tor Vallum looks like what the Zeffo were in Jedi: Fallen Order.

You know your comment made me wonder. Is this the spider-like appearance Tor Valum was given in the concept art what happens to Zeffo when they're corrupted by the Dark Side? Eno Cordova mentioned the Zeffo being a peaceful species, indicating that they may have favored the light side of the Force as a culture. So what if Tor Valum was one of the first victims of the Dark Side due to the pride that's mentioned by the vision of the Zeffo Sage you see in Jedi Fallen Order?
@@80619Chris Apparently that was Kujet. He was the Zeffo sage on Dathomir, who according to Wookiepedia fell to the Dark Side.

@IVAN NEGA As much as I find that idea interesting, I am admittedly finding a lot of fault with it. Firstly, where does it say that Palpatine had a sister in even Legends canon (one that survived the massacre of his family, anyway)? Second, even Disney has confirmed (so far as I know) that the Mortis gods were the first being with the Zeffo being what I can only suppose are the replacement for the Kwa from Legends canon which would make Tor Vallum more like the Rakata of Legends canon. Lastly, how could the Son have lived on through Palpatine if the Son died when Palpatine was already middle-aged in the Clone Wars? During the TV series, we see the Mortis gods die with "help" from Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka. If the Son had any connection to Palpatine beyond being the embodiment of the Dark Side itself, you would think it would do something like diminish Palpatine's power somehow. Lastly, it's been confirmed (much as I hate saying this) that Snoke isn't Plagueis, thanks to TLJ having him killed and Rise of Skywalker revealing copies that Palpatine made. Don't get me wrong, your idea is unique but unless you have a way to effectively explain this all away, it doesn't really work, I'm afraid.
@@yousephkarouni9540 I stand corrected but only slightly. Yes Kujet fell but if this had come to film, who's to say he was the only one? The Zeffo had to fall somehow and I seriously doubt Kujet was powerful enough to do it alone. Still, I thank you for sharing this with me!

I always thought Darth Tenebrous (the original master of Plagueis in Legends) was cool, but this guy that they had planned for Episode 9 is legitimately both intriguing and terrifying at the same time.

Darth plagueis could of meet tor valam after killing his sith master in his obsessed mission to live forever and later gave the location to his appearance Darth sidious
What I liked about Tor was that he wasn't just another bigger in charge sith to take over as villain, he's more of a dark Yoda. And obviously the scenes parallel Degobah too

The idea of Palpatine wanted Skywalker to achieve a power Darth Vader could not controlate because his state is super insteresting. Also, the fact Tor Valum is a ZEFFO is great (if you played JFO)
The Zeffo had 2 eyes, but Tor Valum has 6. He can't be a Zeffo.

I have the impression that the original scripts for episodes 7-9 were viewed as to “radical” for the studio, so they watered them down into the paint by numbers version of Star Wars that we got.
I got chills from this... oh man so much depth and mystery in this I wish we had more of that in TROS

Funny, 'cause the Son already died in TCW, along with the Father and Daughter. So it'll be a bit of a stretch to pull a Mortis arc for Ep IX.
@@rash1990ful an avatar of the Daughter follows Ahsoka around for the rest of her life in the form of Morai, the convor, whom the Daughter poured her life essence into before she died. Trevorrow was going to have The Son be the main villain in Duel of The Fates, since they are netherworld entities, and the constructs that govern life and death in the netherworld of the force is different from the material world. Hell, TROS, and the ST even changed how force ghosts can interact with the physical world, so it's all up for debate.

Great work again. Dunno if I'm a fan of Tor's voice, kinda generic deep rumbly and echoy, don't feel like it portrays his humour either. I like the idea of it being more like Gabriel Woolf's Sutekh, but with a wry amusement. Kinda clam, clear and unfiltered yet cold and condescending with a slight breathiness (?) to it. Not the best at describing it, but you know something a bit more unique sounding to Star Wars. Kinda soft yet cold.
I actually find Tor Valum's voice to be intimidating, like he's more than just a physical body.

Tor Valum should be used in future projects! All his Lore, his past, his implications, his motives to stay hidden. It would be amazing to incorporate him in future projects
The voice you give Tor Valum sends shivers down my spine. It's ancient, it's gruff, and it's very clearly malevolent, like a long-lasting parasite, feeding on the Living Force. I love it and great job!
Had they used this instead, the movie wouldn’t be such a failure.
LOVE IT: where a distraught Kylo-ren out of desperation seeks new guidance his one ultimate goal and purpose to become more powerful even if it leads to his demise. One word BRILLIANT!! 👍
I'm happy that they didn't use Valum. If they wanted to show us Plagueis master then it should be Darth Tenebrous. I hate how Disney messes with the canon, why create a new character no one cares about? just use tenebrous.
In the old canon, the spirit of Darth Tenebrous is still "alive". They could use it.

Wait, who the hell is Tor Valum? The title says that he trained Plagueis, but we know that Tenebrous trained Plagueis. The description says that he trained Palpatine, but we know that Palgueis trained Palpatine. Can anyone explain this to me?
1: Tenebrous is not official canon
2: Tor Valum might have trained Palpatine after or before Plagueis.

Short answer: He trained both Hego Damask II/Darth Plagueis and Sheev Palpatine/Darth Sidious respectively back when he was the master of both Sith respectively.

These are great. Very interesting. The only hole I see is no Plagueis. Palpatine could resurrect himself, why couldn't Plagueis? But his master is still around? Doing nothing for 100 years?

In TROS, Palpatine is Snoke’s daddy. In DOTF, Tor Valum is Snoke 2.0.
Tor vallum is implied to be plagueis(probably snoke's) master

This creature is much better than Palpatine being resurrected and Snoke being a clone (both which smacked of Small Universe Syndrome).

Darth Plagueis's Master was a Twi'lek who opened a wound in the force so the Jedi could finally feel the Darkside 800 years after the Ruusan Reformation.

Okay uhh I think this wouldve been really good?? Doesn't ruins Anakin's sacrifice, adds some interesting world building, Kylo being aware of mortis and trying to become a literal god is very interesting and a perfect goal for a Sith..

The sith really don’t care about the rule of 2 anymore
Because the rule of two is a product of Darth Bane and not everyone has accepted it. The best example, the fourth Sith after Darth Bane (Darth Millennial) questioned her, leaving him banished by his master (Darth Cognus), who got to know Darth Bane personally and was totally committed to Rule of Two.
The new movies was a mess without a red thread through trilogy. Then these gems pops up and you wonder what went wrong. If snoke had died earlier on in the last jedi and this creature came in the middle it had extended the lore much more. I don’t know if the planned for palpatin in episode 9, or if it was just a fan service, because there is no lead up, the read thread is no where to be found. It feels like three analogie movies.

If episode 9 was good, than there wouldn't be a unifying hatred for the sequels. Thus having no possibility of removing the abominations that is the "sequels".

This is the True Canon of Episode 9, because if Collin's Ship Design was in Galaxy's Edge, then this happened in the Timeline instead of the Non J.J. Cut Version of the Film
What if Tor Vallum was a prisoner of Rekata and was the last Zeffo and was mutated twisted by the rekekas horrific dark side experiments on Tor Vallum.

UGG I think most of us wanted this we "NEEDED Darth PLAGUES tor valin Yoda Luke and ..a better script ): this couldve been episode 8
There are certain scenes/moments from duel of the fates that are absolutely amazing and 100x better than anything we got in TROS... but overall I think it's a huge mess like the episode 9 that we got.
If I was handed both scripts and had to choose which one to use as a starting point to make into something better, I probably would've chosen Collin's (and made HEAVY rewrites).
But if I couldn't change anything and I had to choose between this leaked script and the final script for TROS... I'm picking TROS.
😂I guess what I'm trying to say is that while I think the TROS we have is better than this leaked script, I do think that this had more potential to eventually be great.
And who knows, this script was written back in 2016, so maybe there's a much better version of it out there that'll never see the light of day 🤷

Brad Neece yeah. To me, episode 3, although very flawed, has a very compelling story, the creation of Darth Vader when Anakin goes to the dark side, so it makes it quite entertaining. But... George s direction and dialogues... sorry, can’t take them seriously in the prequels. One thing I value of the prequels are all the worlds and artistic designs. Cheers.

I thought the one who taught plaugeus was Tenebrae. But other than , great script. Much deeper than the last official film.
I wish they would make a long series or multiple films on the Sith of the Old Republic. Darth Bane, Cognis, Malgus, Nihilus, Sion, Treya, Revan .... are so much more interesting and darker than Vader and Sidious, and powerful AF!!!
HOPEFULLY DISNEY KEEPS THERE HANDS OFF FROM THAT HISTORY!!
