JJ is pretty clearly saying he would only come back for DeMeco, Chris, lol. He's not going to go to any other team to ring chase. Is just willing to give one of his favorite teammates in his career (his own words) a hand if they need it.

He specifically said for Demeco Ryans who coaches the Houston Texans. Stop inserting the Steelers. He didn’t say anything about them or any other team

I’m generally against players coming back from retirement. However the Texans are a legit Super Bowl-caliber team I think. I will not be surprised if they’re playing the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. So it might be smart for Watt to climb aboard that freight train. (I looked at Super Bowl odds last week. Three teams stood out: the Texans, the Packers and the Chiefs. I think putting 2/3 down on the first two would be smart as they are longer shots than they should be, and the Chiefs were 13/2 and that one would probably double your bet if KC win. If I were a gambler that’s how I’d go.)(BTW: 13/2 * 1/3 = 13/6 or 2 1/6. So if the Chiefs won you’d nearly double your money if you went 1/3 in on them. You’d have to cover the initial bet cost so not quite.)

Eric Weddle came back from retirement for the Rams playoff push when they won their superbowl. Played really well, made it through the entire post season. Tore his pec in the first quarter in the big game. Continued to play the rest of the superbowl anyways, was really effective.
      It definetly happens.

As a Texans fan, I am ALL In on JJ making a comeback.
But, as an observer, this seems a bit out of character for JJ Watt, who is usually a pretty direct, matter-of-fact kinda guy. While I'm not saying anyone is wrong, it jut seems a bit odd to approach it this way.
In any case...if you wanna GO, JJ...then let's GOOOOO!

I'm not sure if he'll be able to come back without some obstacles.
He said he was retiring to spend time with his first child. I feel like part of the reason was because of his irregular heartbeat that scared him and he was in middle of a PED investigation. Cardinals end up paying up the rest of his contract that he didn't fulfill.
If he does come back he may need the Cardinals permission and it possible he could get a suspension from the NFL. I'm not sure if it's a NFL requirement but he might need to pass a physical for his heart.

There are only two places it seems he is actually willing to come out of retirement for.
To play with his brother, stated last season. But the Steelers might be rebuilding so they are probably not a real option anymore.
And the Texans for demeco and because they are his team and look to be contending for the championship this season.

I disagree. JJ Watt coming out of retirement and returning to the Houston Texans would have the whole city of Houston over level 9,000. He's obviously still in great shape and had 12.5 sacks in his last season. I'm not sure if it will happen, but it's certainly possible.
