Great video! This camera is so tempting for it’s 60mp stills & 4K/60 video all in one compact system for my own hiking RUclips channel. But that price tag 😢… yeah I know it’s a good deal for a Leica… but $6k is still $6k. I’ll stick to the X100V for now, maybe a Leica Q3 one day.
Well if you are planning to use it for photos most, then the Leica Q first generation might be a good option? If you wanna do more video, maybe the Q2 😊 But Fuji are doing great at the moment as well
@@Michael_OdelberthHe he I had not time to watch video when made comment prompted by no news on my q3 arrival. But I say back order situation is hidden feature of q3. Making the order you realise you got a 6k $ budget and time to think is this the right use of it. For me it meant to really look at Nikon mirror less system since I am old Nikon dslr shooter. But no, I still want to try the q way but yea does it have to be the latest ?!
@@ArneHalvorsen63 You can definitely get better cameras for the price than Leica cameras if you are looking at the specs. For me the Leica Cameras are more about the feeling of using the cameras and I think that is something you start appreciating more when you have been a photographer for a long time. So for a beginner a mirrorless camera with different setup of lenses is probably a better choice :)
@@Michael_Odelberth Well for sure! But thing is I want to try something different to get back into photographing. I photographed for years using dslr and got praises and won some and enjoyed it and met a lot of interesting people but then it stopped. For a while my photography was on life support being together with a women who was a landscape photographer and dragged me to beautiful places in Europe. When the relationship ended it was also the end of my photographing. I know the reasons and it is not one of course. I had a period I needed to concentrate on work and other things. But also I got tired of me always dragging a bag with camera and lenses, the freaking dust, always changing lenses (at one point I got a second body to help on that but more to drag on!). I missed the experience of beginning of photographing with my entry level 6mp Nikon dslr with cheap lenses. Then I always had the camera with me. That is what I want to get back to because while I do not photograph much I miss it! So when I got newsletter from my gear store with a link to the new Q3 I clicked on it because I enjoy reading about silly expensive camera same way (guilty pleasure) watching 'Luksus fellen (your swedish, you get it :)'. Well I had not guessed few days later I had found the cash and put in an order for the Q3. It spoke to me as a solution. Well and I also reason if it turn out not to be so I will get most of the cash back selling it and got to Nikon, say sorry I doubted in them and get some stuff with the experience this is how it is :) BUT your video got me thinking.... maybe cancel Q3 get a Q2, is it really my only option in this direction? etc. Thank you... sorry for the long comment, it is rainy Sunday :)
