I hate them because our modern world treats 4 year olds and younger kids in general like idiots. They are competent!
If i were a parent I couldn't see myself spending so much money on such a small set that would probably end up getting pieces lost or damaged by a 4 or 5 year old.
Yeah they are honestly way to expensive and are $h!t looking
I hate 4+ sets period, like the recent marvel one is so overpriced, but has a great Ironman figure
the at-st has the piece count of a battle pack with the price of a small playset and the same minifigure count of a $13 accesory pack.
Darth vader comes in a mech which is $15

This is so facts, I’ve always thought that 4+ sets are overpriced.
When I was 4 and 5, I was getting revenge of the sith lego sets in store and building them. I'm not saying every child should do that, but it was nice because I had duplo as a little kid, then i transitioned straight into normal Lego sets. I don't think kids need their own separate thing, especially when said thing never matches its price in terms of value
No offense, but the snow speeder set is actually well done and allows for massable speeders for MOCs.
I'm a zelenal so I grew up with lego star wars and was fortunate to get not only the battle pqcks but whole waves at times which back then things were price much better like Lego play and even halo sets stopped at $100. So I did not have the same expernce as people saying te current 4+ sets are fine nore your experince of being un able to get characters you wanted. But yeah while the quality of legos assembly has gone up in the past 20 years all the rest have been a mixed bag... but price has been just bad most of the time.

I do not think 4+ Star Wars needs to be a thing. The new incoming generation does not care about Star Wars. They outright don't like it. And this issue is made worse by the older generation no longer being happy with the franchise which leads them to not push Star Wars fandom on to their kids as was done in previous generations. I was starting to introduce Star Wars to my 3 year old, but the Ahsoka show was a disaster. I just can't stomach bad Star Wars projects one after the other for years and years. LEGO is actually carrying the franchise, which has made selling off my LEGO Star Wars collection lucrative and easy. I do think that this is phenomenon that will not last. Sell high.

@@bsargee Star Wars merch is not selling. The only merch that is selling is LEGO star Wars. Young teens and younger think Star Wars is stupid. Also, the demographics that watched Ahsoka were Millennials by far. Great you know a Gen Z person that likes Star Wars, but the franchise has been terrible for the last 7 or so years. So it makes sense that the youth thinks SW is stupid.

ofc a 4+ is not cool cuz its not targeted at you. As for the price if y'all stopped buying stuff everytime lego reduced the number of pieces and the amount of work on it they would go back to making good sets the fact that the dreamzz set are so good in quality shows they can do it they just dont need to because star wars fans can't say no
