Ik hou van dit mooie muziek van mortier orgel madeleinne, het een mooie warme klank. ik speel zelf orgel en omdat ik visueel gehandicapt ben leer ik op deze manier van uw orgels de vingerzetting en de accoorden. en het goed! Dus dankuwel! Fijne feestdagen en een Gelukkig Nieuwjaar! !
22:02 Wiener Prater Leben Walzer. 54:12 Li per Li. 58:31 Sing,Little Birdie. I think the first organ is one of the two Mortiers owned by Gordon Hine,i recognize the Schollaert books, any idea what the organ is with the tubular bells and Peersman music?
This looks like the 97 key Mortier no 943.There are several mortier organs that have a large bell on top. These include TAJ MAHAL and DE ROBIAX and this uses the key normally reserved for the triangle! To take it further There is a large 114 key Gaudin Organ that has not one large Bell but a complete tuned octave of 12 large Bells!
The Hine family in Shaftesbury have the same books on one of their Mortiers and it sounds like there's but there are several organs the same with same music.
I have never heard a Mortier with tubular bells, the heavily rebuilt one in the Dansant,Hilvarenbeek has a single one but it's not original, the organ on this recording sounds like an early instrument with the carillon register.
The Mortier "Taj Mahal" has a set of tubular bells in the side cabinets which I think are original. They either play from melody or countermelody, I'm not sure which. I also don't know the works # of Taj Mahal, but since it was built in 1924 it's likely to be around 925-950 or so.
I think some of the books played on Mortier Number 1001 are the work of Urbain Van Wichelen as similar arrangements of 'Cheerio' and 'Que Sera' are in the repertoires of other dance organs. I'd be interested to know who arranged the potpourris on 1027 'Madeline'? This organ has many books by the late Alphonse Dufey - a superb Belgian music arranger from the same era as all the great Belgian masters yet sadly very underrated.

Thanks,Thijs,i only saw one on Poseidon,i had no idea they were ever fitted on Mortier organs,i know some have a large bell in the top.
The first organ is 92 key Mortier no.1061, now in the Hine collection (UK).
From Oliver so awesome if so
💖💖💖💛❤👍👍👍🎯🎯🎯
The potpourris on Madeleine were also by Dufey, if I'm not mistaken. The ragtime potpourris certainly are.
Ik hoor ook 101-t Mortier nr.1027 "Madeleine". Bedankt voor het posten!
A belated thanks for the confirmation Bjorn!
Poseidon (in Hilvarenbeek) has two, so does Balthazar. The one in Helmond still has the original pair I believe.

Je hebt prachtige, mooie en lelijke orgels, maar dit is een uur lang ongeloofelijke kut muziek. Een ramp voor mijn oren.
