This strikes a weirdly personal chord with me as I think I would have the exact same problem if I was a silly vampire. I legit cried when I poked a lizards eye as a kid and it started bleeding, like bawling my eyes out and I still refuse to hurt anyone or anything seriously today.

Honestly i would also feel guilty if i had to feed on a living thing cause i'm just that kind of guy, but i'd also feel guilty and ashamed if i hurt my GF.
