  • In this video we are getting our Abbey Sprayer out for the first time this year as we try to hit back at the dock weeds that have thrived this year. We also have our Grasshopper plate meter out as we plan out our autumn grass rotation.

Glad Mums home and that she's seen the messages, hopefully they'll give her recovery a bit of a boost. Think your quite right to put the sprayer to bed properly over winter, its just like carrying out regular maintenance on your other equipment, if you dont do it then it becomes costly to repair.

23:55 that can be a bit of a pitfall of being on the internet and making content for an engaged audience. It’s called a parasocial relationship, it’s actually quite an interesting subject. There’s potential for negative effects like attachment issues, bias in opinion and it can sometimes lead to a negative interaction if you meet someone.
There’s also positive attributes like increased belonging to a group, it can satisfy needs for socialising for isolated people and can build stronger personal connections with other people who have the same interests.

24:56 My Mother (Adelaide, South Australia) and her sister (Cappoquin, Waterford, Ireland) were avid Letter writers.
It would take My Mother a week to read her sister’s letter and write her reply.
It would then take a week for that letter to travel to her sister.
It would then take her sister a week to read her letter and reply and another week for that reply to arrive back with My Mother.
And thus it was for decades.
    Then the internet arrived.
Once My Mother’s Letter was written, I’d scan it and attach it to an email to My Cousin, who would print it out and hand it to her Mother.
It would then take Mother’s sister a week to read her letter and reply.
Then the reply was scanned, attached to an email and forwarded to Me.
The weeks consumed with trans global travel was suddenly evaporated and distance became ‘as nothing’.
My Mother was delighted, but the only thing she couldn’t get her head around was the fact that I wouldn’t accept postage money for the Stamps.
This arrangement ended in 2008 when My Mother returned home to Cappoquin.
She died in 2009 and her sister in 2010.

Ya regards the masarator , it could be just the measure of oil flow affecting the process when operating the Tanker.
My own experience I got the oil flow measured by my mechanic for the constant pumping for the operating of the masatator. Set up pipes correctly to the correct spools and I have no trouble, touch wood,!!!
      I operating a Johndeere6210 90 hp pulling 2000gl.
Perfect on flat ground, limited hp does affect me on the hills however, just a bit of planning when spreading.
Yes I plan for extra hp in the future, could be a while!!!!!😂.
Now the Johndeere has 110lt per min flow, the Massey could be different.
That Massey should have no issues especially been 150hp
