You have to watch this over and over to see what happened. I think it might have actually been a legit good call possibly. After they collided the Texans players legs were still pumping and his knees had not got down yet. Then when he hit the ground it looks like (from this angle) no one was touching him. You have to be touched by an opposing player after on the ground to be a dead ball. I’ve seen several scores like this in my decades of watching football. But I’d need to see this from more angles to be sure.

I love it because in either madden 24 or 25 (I believe 24) the announcers make a big point in telling you that all first opening drives are scripted. Something to the effect of, “this opening drive is going exactly to script, and make no mistake about it, opening drives ARE scripted.” I’ve only gotten that dialogue once but I was like ayyyy what you tryna tell me??! 🤨🤨
