Kinda hard to get cancelled in the UFC when most of its fanbase doesn’t care about PC shit( unless you actually do some racist shit). Those two dudes are average at best first of all, and Silva just stood and banged the whole time and it was a relatively close fight. And the other dude took him down twice and had 4 minutes of control time in less than two rounds before Pereira caught him with that knee. So you obviously don’t really know what you are talking about. You put Pereira against a top tier wrestler and he’s getting smoked.
I'm glad people like Sean Strickland have an outlet in mma. He's got a lot of energy but he's a well-rounded fighter and at the end of the day he took the punishment of childhood and made something else for himself and good for him

Sean Strickland is like a relic from the 1940s who somehow hasn't found a way to be canceled in 2022. I'm not sure how he's slipped through the cracks up till now but I'm grateful for him. the crazy thing is he is dead spot on as to why the rich love inflation. original loan amount is fixed but they raise costs and double thier income and debt to income. he may sound like he's just randomly spouting off but that is a thing. gas us 2.5 times higher and cooperate loan debt is decreasing in inflationary markets

I have to say, I got home from work, see all the press conference fighters(Izzy, Sean, Pedro, Volk, max, and Sean is by far the one in my mind that most look forward to watching.

Love or hate him Sean Strickland is hands down the most authentic person involved in MMA…..absolutely no filter yet he’s not cringeworthy because of the vulnerability it takes to have a press conference like this. He’s honest and self deprecating and has moments when he comes across as insecure but he seems to recognize when it happens and corrects with a cocky/confident statement. And I just freaking love how much he makes him self laugh. I SURE HOPE HE BEATS PEREIRA SO WE GET MORE GOLD LIKE THIS 👍

Sincerely, this is some of the most insight and accurate but brutal honesty I've ever heard from a UFC fighter. Stop pretending these fighters are enlightened philosophers. They inflict violence on each other for cash and our bloodthirsty pleasure. Strickland may be an insane person, but he's right on the money with that particular thought.

Well this clip didn't age very well. Like seriously, of all the things to legitimately criticize Alex over, Sean decides to go after the one aspect of Alex's skill-set that happens to be not just his best attribute, but the thing that Alex is quite literally one of the best in the effin world at - and that's his striking. Sure there's a major difference between mma striking and kick-boxing, but Alex has demonstrated already in his young mma career that he has adapted his striking for mma fighting pretty damn well, much like what Israel was able to do. Not that Im saying Alex is currently as good of a mma-striker as Israel is currently, even though he very well might be. What im talking about specifically is comparing Alex to Israel regarding their similar smooth transition from being two of the best kick-boxers in the world, (and in Alex's case one of the greatest of all time), to being excellent strikers in mma cage fighting.
Rankings may mean nothing to him but Strickland is p4p one of the funniest fighters in the UFC
